Spend as much points as possible either in Jedi or non-jedi skills. Ensure that you have no free points vacant when the CU2 hits live, and you should be as fine as you can be.
A rule I always follow is, never drop a skill untill you need the SP that skill is taking up. So I usually never have more then 2-10 sp vacant at a time, since i usually surrendering skill and spending SP on a different skill, at the same time.
Yeah only 1 SP left

Easily, I'm TKM/0033LS/2002Enh/2000healer/novdefender and i'm level 74 or 76, can't remember. i have enough free sp to get 0044 LS and 4000 healer. I would try to keep as many jedi boxes as possible.

I just advice a jedi on my server to grind out has many jedi skill points, even if its only all the tier three boxes from every jedi skill . if you are half temp i think it owuld be wise to spend all your skils on jedi skill and it doesnt matter what just as long as you used them all

I really hope we get some clarification on this, because either spending all in jedi or maintaining level both kindo of make senses, but only one is going to work.

Anyone who is a Jedi (which is defined as having the first skill box) will receive the Elder Rewards. So no, you do not have to be a maxed out Jedi to receive the reward.
Doesnt mention anything about CL80
You might receive the reward as a novice Jedi, but that isnt to say you will receive a cl80 FS Character.
Its quite possible they will have a respec skill thing similar to the CU. A novice Jedi, may well be no further in their career in the new system than someone just starting out.
