I have read a few posts about Force run, and how if you use it you should be carefull around mountains. Does falling off a mountain hurt a FS character? I have been using burst run a lot and I run right off cliffs and never get hurt (I have a wookie who is working on Master Ranger, but has 3 boxes to go).

yes but here's the deal: when you initate force run it costs some force power. i know that. but what i'm asking is if you initiate it away from npc's, but when youre still running you pass them (not using any force) will that give you vis?

This is actually a very good question, I've been wondering the same thing myself.

Is visiblity acquired for only the moment you activate FR (and use force) or it acquired for the duration it is on. (this can also apply to Force Speed, etc.)

I would guess no, the system most likly only counts vis when you activate the move. Just as you can walk around citieswith you saber all you want, but if you were to unequip/equip it a few times in a city it puts you on the terms, but we will never know for sure. To be honest we know nothing for sure.

You will only get visability when you activate force run.. Not for the duration. Same applies to force speed. Not too sure about shield or armour though sorry as that has animations when people hit you.

Not really any way to know for sure.. but you can test it.. Make sure you are not on the terms then repeatedly go out of town, activate FR then run through a crowd. When it wears off, repeat. Keep repeating this for about an hour and you can be sure that if it generates vis you will be on the terms.

Let's start it this way: I did the search on it. I found many posts, but no definite answer. So here's my question: I turn my FR on in a safe place (outside 32 m range). And then I just run in a city (with NPC and PC) or I just bump in an NPC, while grinding and of course get closer than 32 meters. Do I get visibility simply having FR on (but NOT turning it on inside 32 meters range)? I do know, that any force powers use or any actions that are force consuming give visibility, but JUST having FR on doesn't consume force. So, does anyone have a staraight answer or maybe a link to a post I have missed.

P.S. Also, I am asking this question, because I am interested: when I have my Force Run on and bump in a Nightsister slave on Dath and will it give me any vis?

Thanks in advancement.
