Thread: All the people who blame SOE for this change please read slowly.
Despite your distorted views, I have one comment for you...it was SOE who sold the new expansion, not Lucas. SOE...that's right. And the aforementioned devs? They all had their part in this. They knew this was coming. How dare they lie to us and lead us on like this...
That $30 you just spent on ToOW is a waste, as the content will no longer be valid after the new CU. The entire game will be different. That may be Lucas' doing, but it is SOE's fault for lying to us.
And don't say they didn't know...they knew the whole f'n time.

This just makes me believe that everything is out of the Devs hands. No logic in revamping classes just to remove them from the game entirely a few months later.

The Devs are just that... Developers. Who wrote the code into the game, exactly? LA may own the rights, but the game is written and produced by SOE.
A little, "head's up" might have been nice.
SOE shaped and shaping the game on its own.UNTIL Lucas tell em what to do.Once Lucas says do this and do that.They just do....nothing else.Lucasarts has more influence on the game than u ever know.I repeat once again Lucas is behind this change.DEVs of course knew this MAYBE will come to live sometime since they coded it...but it would be simply stupid to tell the community may they gonna change the whole system again before getting lucas' order to implement it.
And devs stayed silent all this time about frs pearl fixes bla bla bla....because they WERE UNCERTAIN.They did their best to not mislead us.You can be very angry at this moment.I was too...But not to SOE anymore.Blame someone else changing an RPG game into a console game...which will be released on famous console platforms as well....

Did you know that this CU2 code started being written since patch 17?And code is already done?
Did you know that this upcoming oneis the ACTUAL CU concept made by Lucasarts.And the CU we are playing was SOE's keep the players busy for some project.
Please THINK before flaming anyone Tiggs,Thunderheart,Baciacca,Blixtev,CSRs....
It's not their fault REALLY.
They re just given with some certain things to do with certain timings by LucasArts.
They REALLY REALLY didnt know what was coming till Lucas said them do this and do that.
Please consider what i am saying and DO NOT quit until u at least try the new system.Just try it.May u like it.
