Thread: Rumors started by BHs to undermine Jedi...

Here's two of my favorites:
1) No visibility in the first week: If you fall for this, and grind everywhere with no regard for visibility, you become easy prey for BHs. Easy to see why the BHs started this diabolical rumor.
2) Speeders give visibility: It's impossible to test, but my guess is BHs started this one so that Jedi would store their speeder. With the speeder stored, the Jedi has less escape options when they see the BH approaching...
What are some more?

#) an afk jedi running infusion, aura, and valor macro's are impossible to kill.
that one makes me laugh my buttocks off .....

I didn't agree with no visibility but I didn't have a BH till a week

Well, tell you what helped me....
I believed in the one week religously and it worked... 2 came for me on the 8th day...
I do know of others it worked for also, but also a few who got visited earlier.
This was all when groups gave vis.
My guess would be there is a one week delay, but hey, so many bugs, no wonder it doesnt always work.

It likely has something to do with server resets, and a delay in when new Jedi get added to the terminals, but without a post from a dev, I wouldn't believe ANYTHING religiously. Even then, devs have been known to lie to our faces...

I've never heard the first one and I've only heard about the vehicle one from Jedi. I'll start a great rumor though. Always store your bike. If you even look like you're going to run away, it's going to explode anyway.

I have been wondering much with vis and appearence on the terms anyhow. There seem to be peak times when you are top of the pops and get visited multiple times a day and other times where you get none at all for days/weeks. I don't see a logic pattern here yet.
The religous comment, I was just trying to be funny.... 
I was scared as hell of BH in the beginning but still knew I had to deal with BH sooner or later anyway. So i didnt much care. But still the one week worked for me. Coincedence or whatever, no idea. It just worked.
Until I had to give up TKM/Novice Doc I smoked all of them anyway, so had much fun back then.. 
And concerning the swoops/pet/droid stuff. I am very very sure that is just a rumour. Have grinded with peeps for months and we never considered these things and none of them got BH visits. Even the rumour of grouping with opposite faction seems to be rubbish.

Speeders give no visibility! I have been grinding with my speeder right next to me at all times for over a year with no BH visits..

I dont think speeders give vis but baciaicccaiaciaciaciiaaciccaaaca or whatever his name is said they do

Actually, as a BH, I like it when they leave the speeder out, it destroys one escape mode in the first volley. Then all they have is deeds.

haven't got a bh since i've unlocked like 2 months ago...untill an hr ago...i was running around cloaked...and i noticed how the bh was following me...and i found out he was after me...thought it was funny...lol
