As a Mpowers jedi myself, i can understand some of the nerfs. The attacking causes de-cloaking and interacting agree with some objects de-cloaks i agree with. Now the snare, that's another thing entirely. Even if it is a low percentage snare (5% ?) If a cloaked jedi is unfortunate enough to have to cloak near a major city or large creature lair, the snare will eat his force faster than Anna Nicole Smith at a buffet. The one that really has me wondering is the de-cloaking to execute some actions. I'm praying that it does not pertain to the use of channel. If the snare effect gets put in, channel could be the only thing that will give the cloaker enough force to effectively get away before his force is gone. As many have said in other posts, nothing is certain yet and it's way to early to cry for an un-nerf of an upcomming nerf
. Just as a last thought to any Mpowers users, will you stay Mpowers if cloak gets the low blow from the nerf bat? I love being kind of unique and don't think i could give it up.

AI got the same "low blow" and I stayed with Master Defender. You just have to use it wisely. Even with the snare, force run will allow you to move around normally.
To be honest to you, I think Cloak deserves the snare over AI having it. AI only allows you to prolong the fight a little bit while Cloak allows you to escape it completely. Actually, I don't think either skill should have a snare.

Amen to that, the snare really devalues the worth of AI for master defender. I hope that they don't snare you MPower guys as well. (Of course my evil side says haha I got screwed now your turn....) But I am trying very hard not to show that side!!!!

But the Cloak gave the power users a huge advantage doing certaing things. Like for example the Corellian Corvette (CC - the Non-JTL one). You could run thru the whole CC, and complete it, without taking damage. Without any aggro. I think that flipped a few people out, as pretty unfair. Also parts of the DWB was posible to do Cloakable I hear.
Its sad because of one thing tho. the snare makes it way more difficult to get away from BHs.

I'm a MLS/Master Powers/4040 Healer. I don't have Force Run.
What the heck am I supposed to do with this template now?
Everyone and his brother assumes all Jedi have Force Run. We don't. This is a terrible nerf. Wake up!

Wow i never heard about this. But its a great change, cloakisridiculous as. And you shouldnt be able to channel while cloaked. Its only an escape mech., its not suppost to be "i can run around invisible 100% of the time, and go through dungeons and loot everything you cant,HAHAHA @ non cloakers." The snare and not being able to perform any actions while cloaked is a great change and will balance/return cloak to what it should be.

As one of the few MPowers I think cloak should not be snared, and also you should not be able to go around looting thins in dungeons without being noticed. We should be able to do anyhting we want to ourselves while under cloak. As Seabeef said when enough things are around us while cloaked we will lose force by the hundreds and even thousands every ten seconds. In large PvP cloak ends up to cost more in ten seconds than a single AI which last s like 30 seconds, I've lost almost 6000 force in 10 seconds just cause loads of people loaded in at once, which forces you to be smart with cloak not use it all the time. Now in small PvP cloak gives you the advantage or the abilty to run away safely. This is one of MP's only good things going for it, choke is the only real good attack that does not have a warm up timer, both lightnings have a warm-up timer and so does force strike which does jack dmg. MP needs more abilitys and needs its warm-up timers removed except for area lightning which needs to be a true area attack not some cone. Like pretty much the rest of the MP's out there have said Force weaken needs to be a Force break so the target is more vulnerable only to force attacks, Breach needs to make it where the target cannot apply the buffs he lost from the breach back on for so long say 20 seconds.

There's a simple solution to that, make the people in CC see through the cloak. Then you don't have to nerf it. I can understand them wanting to nerf it due to people skipping content, but to nerf peoples' means of escape that is ridiculous

What really gets me is some of people think that this is the first nerf Powers has had since the CU, or as the above poster puts it, "now it is your turn".
Look at the list of nerfs Powers has had so far, is it any wonder why we are the least played combat profession in the game.
All force attacks other than Choke face more layers of damage mitigation than any other type of attack in the game. Force Shield, Force Feedback, Force Defense, Force Armor, Crafted Armor, PSG, Looted/Quest reward Armor, and Innate Armor types.
Made Powers attacks subject to damage mitigation by PSG.
Improved Jedi defenses versus Force attacks. Improved Force Shield was raised from 45% mitigation to 75% mitigation versus Force Attacks, +100 Force defense was added to the Defender Discipline (Improved Force Feedback is still 95%)
Increased Action costs on Force Powers.
Did not add speed mods to the discipline at the CU like sabers recieved.
Added an interuptable warm up timer to Force Lightning.
Added an interuptable warm up timer to Force Area Lightning.
Removed dizzy and stun states from Force Lightning and Force Area Lightning.
Removed the Armor Break effect from Improved Force Weaken.
Removed the 2 minute HAM debuff from Improved Force Weaken.
Reduced Improved Force Throw from area attack to a cone.
Reduced Improved Mindblast fom cone attack to single target.
Removed Mind Trick from the Discipline.
Removed Animal Calm from the Discipline.
Removed Animal Scare from the Discipline.
Removed Animal Attack from the Discipline.
Increased cooldown timer on Force Cloak to 20 seconds.
Increased cooldown timer on Force Choke to 15 seconds.
And now they want to nerf the usefulness of Cloak? What is wrong with these people? Patch after patch my Template has had nerf after nerf and it is really getting old.

Quick and easy? It took me the same amount of xp to master powers as it does to master sabers.
Are you merely being a troll today, or do you actually have the limited knowledge that you display?
