That sucks, feel bad for the Jedi that have some skills that no longer work or apply to LS (Crafting tree wise.) I thought it was tested that if you completed and trained a 7th tree you could drop another, I guess it was changed if that was ever true, because I don't personally know anyone who's attempted it before.

You can. I had left over senses xp and fully trained a 7th branch (luck), then dropped an existing branch (persuasion) without issue (Post-CU). You just have to have 6 full branches at all times.

Figures, Jedi are gonna get the short end of the stick forever it seems. Our only hope is for one of GL's Daughters to see our plight and say "Dad, that's really not too fair..". Til then, I've got a weird looking flashlight. Why else is the final quest to complete combat prowess mysteriously so bugged?

Ya, that is prob the tread that prompted me to go in for round 3 on this question. I completely trust the CSR, he's one of the best I've have dealings with. Plus as I stated in the other post. I got the same response. The only thing I was told was that a pre-patch 9 Jedi, who somehow still had a FS tree respec, from when they introduced the village could do this. But the CSRs info on this was fuzzy at best. Kind of like taking bomb defusing instructions from the Pizza Delivery boy. Either way, I seriously doubt that there are any Jedi accounts turned off at patch 9 w/ a respec left on them. So that option, even if it's real, wouldn't be all that useable to the masses.

Only because of the constant coding problems with the normal operation of the game, would I be extremely unwilling to try this. Personally, I'd love a FRAP video of someone training the skills, then dumping the 7th Tree.

Corrispondent: This should be something a dev could try on TC in like 5-10mins. I mean, load on a dummy account, toss in the xp and give it a go. As it stands I would really love to get the Ranged Spd/Acc trees, as they were useless back in my day. Otherwise I'm gonna run around as a crafter w/ a 1950+ pvpscore and pick fights, lol.

I can also confirm this. FS trees can be changed.....I had to grind combat xp (old nades) before they nerfed the fs conversion ratio for combat xp...I dropped the survival tree and picked up melee speed, but could only do so after I have the completed 7th tree....then I was able to drop one FS tree to regain my skill points.
