10 cents... heheh... But lets be real here....
Venezuela's market economy is dominated by its principal natural resource: oil. Before 1914 when venezuela's oil reserves were discovered they were poor as dirt.

We in the UK pay about 4 times as much per gallon as people in US... and the average person in the US uses like 4 times as more!
Longer commutes, bigger cars.
and were catching up in price. 4x as much per gallon? So your paying $15 - $20 a gallon?

Oil is 95% of the export that comes from venezuela. Of course its 10 cents a gallon, your country along with OPEC is getting rich on the rest of the world.
Im sure Alaska has some cheap gas prices right now.
Sadly it's not. Alaskan and Texan (and the gulf's) oil are heavy crude made for industrial purposes mainly. Our vehicles rely on light crude oil which is exported from the Middle East and South America.
Thats why we always have to deal with the 2 countries instead of using our own oil despite popular protest from the ignorant American public that we should use our own oil.

Yeah, I just looked it up. Alaska is a bit cheaper though. About 2.80 a gallon on average.
The OP saying that Venezuela has cheap gas prices is a bit of a poke at the US because we import our oil from them. Im glad they are paying 10 cents and we make their country rich. ![]()
