I am at a loss, you guys asking for PvE only Jedi, No BH Jedi, No visibility Jedi?...
I have to ask you guys what the Hell were you thinking when you decided to go grind Jedi and throw them nades in the air?
You guys could not have been that blind not to know the RISK and what it was to be a Jedi!
I have been a Jedi long enough to know issues coming and with all of this crap talk it is nothing more then ANOTHER CRY for a nerf on ourselves? Have you guys not figured this out yet? Do you need some help understanding this?
Some of us Jedi are pretty sick and tired of all the cries... this is the class, this was the way it was made and this is part of our role in the game.
If you do not like it then Im sorry you made the mistake of choosing Jedi as your class that day.. if you do not like it so much and cannot handle it please feel free to delete those boxes and drop the Force sensitive boxes too.
Nobody has forced you to be a Jedi, in fact you worked somewhat for it... it was your choice and you knew what it entitled... so crying now is like buying a Porshe and in 5 years making it a Volvo with alot of airbags.. please think about what your choices were...before we get anymore weaker then our state now.
People ask what happend to Jedi... well here is about 50% of the answer.
(I want to add one thing, if you didnt think we were a joke on other boards and fourms your so wrong with all this PvE talk and visibility talk we are more so then ever)..

Someone had to whine for that one and it couldn't have been the post cu/post pub 9 jedi.

/agree 100% with the OP
people wonder why devs dont look at our issues or fix the 'bugs' with jedi...just look at some of the threads on here, its rediculous
with insane demands like...enhancers should have a +500 accuracy buff???we should have pve only jedi with more powers than pvp jedi???how can we be taken seriously????
also ive noticed that most people who ask for a pve jedi only have crappy sabers and are post-cu jedi...im both :saber 631 max dam 34fc speed 2.33,been killed 14 times by bh,attacked 37 times by bh and won only 6(two of wich when i was still mpistols)last two weekends i made well over 5million in xp...0 bh attacks(cm dots bugged probably have something to do with it :smileyvery-happy![]()
im in favor of risk being ADDED to jedi not removed,u dont want risk play an imagedesigner!!!

iska, its like this. i unlocked jedi the last day of pub 9, first day of pub 10 i was grinding. all that i saw were powerful jedi and i wanted to be one and was willing to put the work into it. As i was just finishing up my long jedi grind, poof, the c.u. came into effect and all the things i was grinding so hard for were gone. taken away from me after i had worked so hard to get them. really unfair that soe changed the complete system and nerfed it to a common proffesion. Its the betrayal of what we were promised and what we actually got is the deepest cut. If you are a post cu jedi then I dont expect you to understand what we were promised to be and what soe just changed their mind for us to be. So now its as if i spent 16 months for what can be done with other proffesions in 4 or 5 days is nothing but a slap in my face with no remorse from soe at all for killing this game and jedi.actually think of the time alot of us put into it. you asking what we thought is about the dumbest question i have seen on this forum. what we thought 17 months ago was much different than what is actually happening post cu.Message Edited by KRAKEN666 on 10-03-2005 08:27 AM
Iskareot is a pre publish 9 jedi fyi. I agree with what he wrote 100%. We all knew from day one of the grind that Jedi was a pvp proffesion, even though Jedi may not ne as powerful as it once was, why does this mean a pve option should be allowed for Jedi?

I am going to break down this post in hopes it will educate the writer.
I have a pre-publish 9 jedi. What did I think of when I was grinding out the 30 professions? I was thinking how much fun it would be to ROLEPLAY being a dark jedi. I never "threw nades into the air" to obtain it.
The jedi profession has changed (been nerfed) so many times those of us who started in the beginning are playing an entirely different profession than what we started. How would anyone like it if you went from using a flame thrower one day and then wind up dancing in a cantina the next day cause all of commando's abilities were made to work only in cantina's?
You can not drop force sensitive boxes once you have obtained them.
I personally think people mock Jedi for numerous reasons: being envious andjealous that they could not do what we have done, being "ganked" by mobs of player jedi in pvp (the number 1 reason why Jedi are and have been nerfed to heck), and lastly because the majority of our profession do not "ACT" like jedi or dark jedi.
Personally I found your whine about the whiners to be offensive and completely without any constructiveness what so ever. Maybe you are the one burned out playing the jedi. I unlocked my Jedi May 4th 2004 and I love playing him. Mind you I play the hermit jedi, most people on my server have no idea who I am, cause he is never in public unless he has to be, that and I have never to this day worn those robes or tags in public.
Because there looks as if there is a large portion of jedi who do not PvP that want it...

The really funny bit is that I came to jedi knowing that it would be overpowered....and therefore it would be nerfed one day.
I'm laughing all the way through the galaxy now at those people who didn't think it would get a nerf. Even as far back as early 2004, I knew that jedi wouldn't last as it was; there were just too many grinders going for it. I knew that the game could not sustain one single alpha class, and that either more would be introduced, or jedi would be nerfed.
We are reaping the rewards of our own popularity. If there had been fewer jedi, we would not have been hit so hard. Jedi, whatever anyone says, is sooooooo easy to get that it's untrue. Anyone who says otherwise is insane. I'm in no way as hardcore a player as SOE suggested would become a jedi, yet here I am kicking a** and chewing bubblegum, while a dead Nekrosis lies at my feet.
Personally I wish that the whiners would just shut up. It does nobody any good, and makes non jedi hate us even more. I go with the flow, and if jedi becomes boring for me I'll just drop it and move on.
The days of uber jedi are gone forever, and the sooner a lot of the losers who post here realise that, the better. Head off to another game, and leave SWG for those of us that actually enjoy it as it is ![]()
I started playing Nov 2003 (before the xmas holos) and unlocked Jan this year cos I didn't holo grind.
