Back pre CU when you got a profession it meant something, now a days you can grind a profession in less than a day and move on to the next.

Why? Experience points are wayyy easy to get. Get in a good spin group and watch TV.

Solution: If you changed the game completely and the way PvE works, then your going to have to adjsut the XP requirment for Professions to fit the current system.

Yeah, it's too late now. With something as all encompassing as "XP gain", any negative changes are (and did in the past) cause massive uproar. It's not like you're nerfing a single profession or anything, you're slowing down the progress of everybody playing the game.

That said, XP gain with decent spin groups is ridiculous - not so much for Jedi professions (although I suppose it is if you believe Jedi should take months to get full template), but for regular professions it is insane. I fully believe you could master any combat profession, regular or elite, in less than a day with a decent spin group.

Well if it was my dog, andhe paid me 15 $ a month, and his bone had Cyanid all over it, i would take it away. But then again im a reasonable dog owner.

Well... Being a human i clearly know better than the dog, so in its best interest for living longer i will take the bone away, it may whine a bit, but it wont die, then it willl be fine again with time.

lol this is retarded , they pay as much as we do and if you were one of em youd say exactly the same thing they are saying. you just dont give something then take it back months later and expect people to be happy about it... thats the bottom line. Even if its for the better of the game.

It all depends on the perspective you look at this from. Taken from a students perspective, or somoene who doesn't do much other than play games, XP gain is very fast. However for someone that can at best manage 2 hours a day, the XP gain is much lower. In that 2 hours they need to find a spin group and then deal with things like members leaving and then not having enough to continue grinding.

I say keep things as they are because if you think things don't take long enough, then you clearly have too much time on your hands to play SWG. Again thats just an opinion from my perspective. A casual gamer friendly environment is nothing but a good thing. You could quite easily spin the argument around and say the power gamers are runing it for the casual gamers by calling for XP gain to be slowed down and the like.
