My LS damage range is 584-694, but about a week or so ago, my damage numbers dropped fromlow 600's to mid 400's. It happened when they removedthe yellow flying text damage display, which doesn't allow you to see what your damage is, unless you are solo. I've had to watch the combat chat window to see what damage I'm doing. Am I getting lower damage because it always showed lower damage in the combat chat window than the yellow flying text or am I really causing less damage? I have asked many Jedi in-game and no-one else seems to be having this problem. What gives?

Turn on the detailed combat logs. If you are currently viewing the simply logs all that you are seeing is your damage after armor and all other mitigations etc.... If you use the detailed logs it will break it all down for you including your original damage and how much was mitigated. My guess is you are used to seeing the unmitigated number and now you are simply seeing only the mitigated number.

Ok, I don't remember seeing any detailed combat log option, is there one in options?

also remember that pvp damage is .7 of pve damage - and vs different enemies youll hit for diff amounts.. so for a totally fair test you need to hit the same enemies

First of all azzclown if ya cant be constructive and offer som advice without being an Idiot S T F U and stay out of the forums. He wasnt complaining about his general damage dealing ability. He was wondering if he was doing less damage due to a bug. I suggest you go back to Kindergarden and learn how to play nice with other people before opening that cake hole of yours on here again. Or maybe you need to go back to mommy and demand to be breast fed?
For the OP of thisthread go to your Options Ctrl+O and click on your Chat Options and scroll all the way down. Make sure you have checked off Verbose Combat Chat Style and Include all messeges in combat chat. This will help you to see the damage you are doing both before Mitigation and After as well as what your Elemental Damage is.

@vnicula: I wouldn't say 584-694 damage "sucks", as you say, from what I've seen others' sabers are doing. That is not the point, anyway. Besides, Flawless/Premiums don't have a higher cap than goods, and I have one 120 damage and the rest are 102. I don't think anyone would say that "sucks".
@the rest:
- Yes, I know the differences in damage amongst different mobs, this is on the same mobs.
- My PC isn't too shabby, so I don't see lag being an issue, but thanks for the warning.

AMD 64 3400+ 3 gig memory
Geforce 6800
SATA HDD
not a shabby system here either
But a noticable lag spike when watching combat spam

Hmm that's not to far off from mine, might be even better, not sure what the comparable Intel CPU is:
3.0 P4
2 GB RAM
nVidia 6800 Ultra
2X250GB IDE RAID Array
But, at least this explains why no-one else is talking about this, it's a display issue, not a damage issue. Thank you all for your help and, I must say, your ignorance (vnicula!).
