Usama wrote - Post-Cu Jedi would kill for such odds on tunes that you mention. 1 out of every 25 Pearls that tunes 100+ and -8 fc. Do you realize what some Jedi are carrying around in their sabers?? Here is a saber you will like to have if a BH attacks you 45 -7 / 80 -3 / 94 -2 / 30 - 9.

You read the post but you missed the point. They had a higher chance to tune better but took much longer to obtain.
You may need to tune 100 good pearls/crystals to get 1 that is really nice, but you can get them so fast today it all evens out.

Actually, I got your point. I was just a bit unclear in my reply by leaving out a word. Here is what it should have said "1 out of every 25 premiumPearls that tunes 100+ and -8 fc."
Just one last question reguarding your last statement in your reply. Do you consider the best tune of 94 -3 out of 100 or more "Good" pearls evening out compared to Pre-Cu tunes and availability of Flawless and Premiums? The reason I ask, is because I have personally tuned well over 100 and that is the best tune damage wise on a Post CU pearl.

Do you honestly believe there's veteran Jedi who believe a "Good" pearl can get a perfect tune?
I do not believe they are THAT noobish. Pre-CU you had to run through maybe 20-30 PREMIUMS to get a good saber, and the first thing I learned was that even Quality pearls where not worth the inventory space, so people made their alt's into krayt/nightsisterkillers and farmed premiums/flawlesslike crazy.Come on, everybody know this.

There's a real reason they dont want the rest to have access to what they have.
Fear...
A lack of trust in their own capabilities.
When they lose their better-equipment handicap all their comments about them being a "skilled pvp player" would be handed to them by players who really have the skill.
They do not know if it's thanks to them or their saber they win fights, so they know thatif everybody player have an equal chance, they fear they will start to lose... alot... and quickly drop back into being a nobody. And that can drive many players to sacrifice their credibility as an old-timer and make absurd claims like "Sure you can tune a good tune with a Good pearl" on the forum (which is like saying things like "Sure there are force-boosting food" or "My friend saw this holorecording and died after 7 days" or make up other kinds of insane urban legends that speak directly against all knowledge, the official F.A.Q's, and all common sense).
Also many of theese players know they have a golden ticket to the top right now, and they want that free ride once the FRS is re-enabled.
Many of theese players have taken every advantage they ever could to reach the top, and you better believe it, everything to using the best and most extreme grindtactics and flightclubs. And now they are accusing everybody else, becouse somewhere inside they feel ashamed.
Do anybody actually believe someone can grind a Jedi in 2 weeks? Are you REALLY that stupid to believe that crap? Or are you just trying to convince yourself that you are better becouse all the shortcuts you took was "better" and more "honorable"?
I have always said the best way to cut down the Jedi population is to look for Selfish posts on the forum. A true Jedi should not be selfish or greedy. Boot thoose and we improve our genepool, erase alot of childish attitudes and also improve our reputation amongst non-jedi.
And it also cut short some urban legends that dumbs down the community.
Anyway: Next time you see someone claiming "I have a perfect saber, go tune "good" ones", remember that he will be the first one put against the wall when the premiums start to drop again - and they know it.

I agree.
And the part about the 2 weeks to full temp is pretty much right unless you used some dodgey way to get uber exp. I just made full template and it took me 6 weeks of around 4-5 hours a day area attack grinding.

God, months . . . it took me months to get full template! Finished right before the CU. Now I wishI had just made credits and hunted crystals.

You can grind what 4 to 6 mill jedi xp a day in a spin group and it takes what about 36 mill xp so it can be done.

If I knew what I knew today I would have bought a second account and made it into a krayt-killing nightsister-slaying template and grinded nonstop.

took me avout 48 days to finish my temp pre cu and yes i grinded to much for my own best
but i am glad i did so i got time to hunt loads of krayts .
eitherway every one should have the possble to make as good saber with pearls in it
but it was to easy to kil krayts pre cu and there was to many of them if you ask me
so some decrease spwn + give them higer level
