The robes right now don't offer anything special. So here is whatI think they should offer.
Make us able to craft our own robes.
The padwan robe, will have 10 slots.
Well wait, What do these 10 slots do?? Well, young Padwan they can enhance your offence and defence capabilities with jedi artifacts, or also serve as a backpack to store Items.
Jedi Artifacts?!?
Master, what are these "jedi artifacts"?? Well young padwan, They serve as defensive or offensive attachments that you can put into your robe.
Master, I still don't understand. Here is an example of what they can do, Young Padwan. One type can enhance your defence againts states that a enemy might try to put on you. They can be between 1-5 efftiveness. So Master, IfI find one and tune it, it could enhance my Jedi state defence between1 and 5, as long as I have done the quest? Yes young Padwan, you catch on quick.
Jedi Robe Experimentation
This would be Jedi robe experimentation and jedi robeassembly. It would be excatly like jedi lightsaber experimentation and assembly. You would be able to set the color of the different parts of the robe. Ie* Boots:Black,Gloves:red, then at the end the Jedi Robe crafting tool will assemble it all in one piece. Also, we might be able to choose different styles of robes.Instead of wearing dresses or pajammies.(Adefo-Oami's idea).
Now what can I experinemt in?
1. Slots
2.Jedi fore power
3. Jedi force regeneration.
As the jedi moves up in rank new robes become available. The base slots will increase.
Padwan:10slots (unexperimented)
Knight: 20
FRS -1: 30
Keeps riseng at increasements of 10.
Limiting Factors
You must complete the quest to beable to wear the Jedi artifact that you have. Example. You have saved up many different Jedi artifacts. You reach padwan and are enabled to start the quests. You complete the first one and the jedi trainer gives you the ability to use blue jedi artifacts. So, your trainer awards you a free blue jedi artifact. Note all free jedi artifacts are at the rateing of balanced. Which tunes out to be +2.5 jedi toughness and 500/500 condition.
The jedi trainer also informes you that you can have only 4 other blue artifatcs in the same robe at once. He also tells you that once they reach 0 they will disappear and you will have to go find new ones. So that's a total of 5 of the same artifacts you can have in the same robe at once. Here are some examples of the Jedi artifacts.
Red Jedi Artifact: You feel the force root you frimley to the ground.
Mods:1-10 knockdown defence. Can have a maximum Of 5. so 5 pristine ones will give you a total of 50kd defence.
Purple Jedi Artifact:You fell the force surround you.
Mods:1-10 force power. Can have a maximum of 5.
Green Jedi artifact: You fell the force empower you with state defence.
Mods:1-5 jedi state defence.
Same. can only have a maximum of 5.
Jedi artifacts come is different shapes. IE:triangle, circle, square, etc, etc.
Rateing
For the 1-10 ones.( kd defence, ls accuracy, etc, etc)
1-4
oor
5: balacned
6-8 mint
9-10 pristine
For the 1-5 artifacts. (jedi toughness, state defence, others devs might fell overpowered if set to 1-10)
1-2 Poor
2.5 balanced
3-4 mint
5 pristine
Note* condition is random.
The Quest
The quests will begin once you reach padwan(Makes sence because That is when you can first make your robe). The quests will be based on how skilled a padwan is in the lightsaber tree. If he/she has no skills, the quest will be somewhat easy ,But still fun. Also how many Quests you can dowill be based on the jedi's skill in lightsaber. The higher you are in lightsaber the more quests are available. A Jedi will be able to complete 2 quests a day.Note* the first quest for everyone is to create your first Jedi Robe Crafting tool.
The Reward
The reward will be some jedi exp and a free artifact. Note the higher you are in lightsaber, the more exp you will receive. All artifacts rewarded from a trainer willhave a balanced rateingwith a 500/500 condition. The hardest of the quests will be available to anyone who is 4/0/0/4,0/4/0/4,0/0/4/4,. You Must be at least full techniques and full 1hand,2hand,or polearm to get most of the jedi artifacts unlocked. If you go Master lightsaber ,You are guarenteed to have all of the artifacts available to you . When you have done all the quests. Note* they are in random order. Also, Say you had 5 purple jedi artifacts and you have not done the quest. Then you will only be able to see that it is a Purple artifact. Once you have done that purple artifact quest, You'll be able to see the condtion, rateing. You must fully tune the jedi artifact to beable to see the mods.
How does the Backpack work?
Example you are a Jedi Padwan and you have just finished your first artifact quest. You unlocked the jedi tougness and received a free balanced Blue jedi artifact. You Had 4 that you looted from something earlier(they are not gonna be this common . This is just an example). Since you completed the Quest, you are able to see the Rateing and Condition.
The rateing is BAlanced, so you know the jedi toughness is gonna be 2.5. Now you see the condition (which is random .but for example purpose) which they all have 500/500. You open your jedi robe in a new window. Then you drag and drop them into place. Now you have 5/10 slots filled. You examine Your robe,it says
Robe Condition: 200/200
Slots filled:5/10
Jedi artifacts: 5 blue
Items:0
Mods: +11 jedi toughness
+250 force power
+2 force regeneration
You notice your inventory is full. So you open your robe and place 5 items from your inventory to your robe. Note* you can place untuned artifacts into a robe. But, you will not get any of the benifits.
You examine your robe
Robe Condition: 200/200
Slots Filled: 10/10 (full)
Jedi Artifacts: 5 blue
Items:5
Mods:+11 jedi toughness
+250 force power
+2 force regeneration.
Say you are a jedi knight. Then you can have up to 4 different sets of artifacts, or hold 20 items.
Also, there will now be a reason to advance up the frs(The higher the robe=more slots= more jedi artifacts and storage space). You will become much stronger than a Jedi Knight.
Also, every FRS rank you move up in, You can add +1 to the overall jedi artifacts. Example, Jedi sentinels would be able to place 6 jedi artifacts into one robe. Instead of 5.
This is what I think of when I hear jedi robe. Please, voice your opinion. I think this would fix:1. Jedi not being able to have backpacks.
2. it will add more content and make being a jedi more rewarding.
3. Give Jedi Robedefencesand offence enhancements.
4. add color to the robes.
5. It would be worth advanceing up the FRS.
This also could be made into a seperate quest based JediProfession.Which requires 0 skill points.

not a bad idea! i like it! except the part about the coloring... i know every jedi wants to have his own look by changing the color of his robe, but a jedi in bright red robes???? other then that, nice ideas!

Sounds awesome to me, but one lil thing i would modify is the ability to craft different styles of robes, as well as a few color choices. Such as you gain new schematics for different robes at different levels just like sabers. The styles of the robes would be like the LS hilts. You get the idea

Now there would be a reason to go up FRS. To get better robes, more slots, and you can add more jedi artifacts.

LOLL, bright red? For a knight or better who can do that, I think it'd be kinda cool, whatever, ya know? For padawans...that'd prolly learn a lesson faster than not..."Aim carbines here..." is what they'd be telling everyone. Perhaps a restrictedd color palatte would keeps robes away from the brighter colors, but rather in various shades of more earthy tones.
Great, well thought out idea, btw.

This is a great idea! But in the end, the inside of you're robe is gonna look like a christmas tree.
It would. But it would be fun as hell.
