Thread: aura bugged atm?
Its not reducing anywhere near as much as it used to.
pre-24 grand krayts were easy, went from doing 750dmg a hit to me to about 400max, now they do about 600 - 650 with aura on. Either the krayts damage has gone way way up or aura is just not what it used to be.
so...
Avoid incap is useless
Aura is weak(er)?
and it seems ranged def may not really be working as it should with a melee weapon equipped....
It feels like defender is getting nerfed pretty hard just as it was in the patch9 beta 0.o
But ive been Mdef sincewell before the CU came and I have no intentions of dropping it ^^

I practiced this with a guildie and from what i noticed it seems that force aura will defend 50 points of damage regardless the overall amount of damage but in theory +500 should reduce alot more than that.
I didnt notice any diference in my opponent missing me when i had it on or off to be honest but i didnt really test it extensively if anyone else can do a bigger test and see whats up with it that would be cool.

Yes it looks like a hard-cap was put in place for Aura. I'm guessing it was a stealth nerf that slipped by because of all the other crap with pub 24.

Yes it looks like a hard-cap was put in place for Aura. I'm guessing it was a stealth nerf that slipped by because of all the other crap with pub 24.
i would rather say, that it is the normal aura again.. not the improved one... we had this bug on pub 20/21
