My rl son who plays with me here did something which I at first thought was hilarious and then upon second thought seemed to make more sense than anything I have seen. On his desktop he had renamed his swg shortcut to NERF WARS. I will take a second to explain why this is so funny (in an ironic greek tragedy sort of way).

Back in the early days of the game, it seemed to us that the devs were very focussed on making sure they angered every single profession and player group in the game. We all laughed about it and told this joke endlessly when referring to the devs tragic efforts to run this game in a way that was player friendly.

Then came the great CH nerf of dec 2003 and all of us stopped laughing. It was no longer a joke, it was no longer funny. In the last 2 years I have seen more nerfs than content. It is easy to look at the devs present behavior of taking away more than they give and understand why the game is dying.

I truly think this game is more aptly named NERF WARS. Jedi are literlaly being nerfed into uselessness. Now we know the devs "final solution" to the jedi problem.

Feel the pain all too much. Finally reached the conclusion this game isn't Star Wars in any shape or form. Bug ridden, no additional free content of worth, and endless nerfs. Congrats SOE, this day one vet is finally gone.

Going from KD+Dizzy wars to heal wars to the all new and exciting SNARE wars!

comical....and may be true....

but sadly I think your attempt to lighten the mood will be seen as a vaildaition and start more negative talk....

the end result is... the devs will do as they want...

complaining means either they were successful .... or someone is not learning the new skills...

either way...none of us are forced to play...

if you or anyone don't like the game so much....

play something else....

While I am reluctant to make dire proclamations about the future of the game, in this case I am forced to. This game is not BH wars. Why are the devs always listening to the wrong people? Show me where all this happy horse feathers is in Star wars? When they added action and mind costs to everything jedi do, we ceased to be jedi end of story. The movies are all about jedi, not about bit players like boba fett. What do the devs do? Bow down and worship the demands of the bhs whose sole intent in the game is to kill fellow players here in non consensual pvp. It is difficult to fathom a dumber move. I truly wish I had not brought my guild to this game just after launch. For me this shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that the devs have betrayed their fiduciary responsibility to LA and to the people who play this game. This is blatant prima facia evidence that should end up in a court of law, which it wont. This game will continue to die a slow death while SOE continues flogging this nearly dead horse for all the cash that it can before the horse dies.

That is SOE now, a jaded, greedy rider, flogging a deeply wounded and sick animal to run ever farther in the pursuit of a few more profits before the whole thing collapses. One is pressed to imagine a more tragic scenario. Need proof? Get a beta invite, and you will see for yourself.

Stop! Your sounding way to smart for them.

The star wars galaxies dev and management team need to appoint true star wars fans as leaders of their respective teams and sort this crap out.

The game would be more appropriatey named "Aventures of a Bounty Hunter" or some **modbot** like that!

Where the **modbot** is George Lucas on this because this is not his vision of Star Wars! And if he took notice, would not be amused.

Jedi are supposed to be the alpha character class in SWG and 1.5 times stronger, what a **modbot**ing joke!

Yes i'm ranting on and swearing etc,but i'm a true fan, and the devs are destroying a potentially good game
