Back in the early days of the game, it seemed to us that the devs were very focussed on making sure they angered every single profession and player group in the game. We all laughed about it and told this joke endlessly when referring to the devs tragic efforts to run this game in a way that was player friendly.

Then came the great CH nerf of dec 2003 and all of us stopped laughing. It was no longer a joke, it was no longer funny. In the last 2 years I have seen more nerfs than content. It is easy to look at the devs present behavior of taking away more than they give and understand why the game is dying.

I truly think this game is more aptly named NERF WARS. Jedi are literlaly being nerfed into uselessness. Now we know the devs "final solution" to the jedi problem.

Feel the pain all too much. Finally reached the conclusion this game isn't Star Wars in any shape or form. Bug ridden, no additional free content of worth, and endless nerfs. Congrats SOE, this day one vet is finally gone.

Imagine if the devs spent the amount of time they do on nerfing and put that into creating actual content....

And you wonder where Lucas Arts is in this whole ordeal. As they watch SOE totally trash the Star Wars and Jedi branding. Lucas must be asleep on this one.

This was quoted from another thread, and is very traggic, I dont see the game lasting much longer after this:

Are you people just really into complaining and overreacting?

Tell you what, you play a jedi on the Beta and tell me exactly how bad it is.

i play a jedi on beta, a bh/combat medic friend of mine with 0-0-0-4 pistoleer was able to keep me constantly snared with electrlyte drain, while on FR2 when it got put on it dropped me to snared speed. Every time the electrolyte drain would run out he walked up, paralyzed me, put it back on me then went back out to about 50m and kept shooting at me.

The one time he wasnt paying attention and it dropped and i hit FR2 he hit me with a stopping shot then went in and paralyze/electrolyte drained me.

Basically its easy to keep a jedi 50m away and kite them now.

works the same way with kneecap shot from rifles and crippling from carbineer.

I have wondered the very same thing. If the devs spent as much effort giving things to people as they put into taking things from them this game would be an entirely different place.
