there has never been more of a empowerment to a single profession then MBH. at the expense of all other professios, melee,docs, and yes jedi, toi be totallly thrown under the bus , gimped, empty promises, and just no longer worth playing.


mbh lost the master marksman pre req.


mcm lost the master medic pre req, AND then only needs one line of medic, while doc needs 2?? wheres the alternative "balancing for doc for melee profs????????? 1 line for cm, 2 lines for doc???????


so then we have a free ride profession, super uber, the new alpha class, Mbh/Mcm, a 3 day grind. What??? a 3 day grind.


meanwhile all other professios, the melees, the docs, the jedi, are so out of balance because of this enabling of mbh/mcm its not even cute, or funny.


where is the doc equivalent to melee that mcm has become to ranged, with only 1 line of medic, instead of 2.


as far as jedi is concerned, since the devstook it upon themselves to go so overboard and out of their way, to make a profession thats not even in star wars"kinda like the lava saber" the mbh/mcm, i can only see them freeing up our worthless fs points to use, its not like im asking for the devs to drop 2 Master Professions, and hen carve another line out of medic, so i can have the super alpha 3 day grind class.


it would look something like this.


MASTER SABER, MASTER ENHANCER, MASTER DEFENDER, HEAL 4004 FTW

Um, it takes 43 SP to get novice doc, 58 to get novice combat medic, and only 28 to get 4000 Healer (not including the 24 worthless FS boxes).

Not if you're already a BH. If you're a BH already you spend 14 fewer points adding CM vs adding Doc.


Is this a bad thing, eh...probably not. But the OP was talking about MBH/MCMs rather than just MCMs vs MDocs.

My guess is it's a concept thing. If you're talking about a combat medic, they should have some combat experience.

plus it is RANGED stimpacks. . . an RANGED poisons, etc. So the line of RANGED support made sense. I like what CM used to be...now it's just dumb

If I recall right the original reason (listed on theGeneral Chat forum[long since removed])given to why CM required the ranged line from Marksman was to give it the "combat" part of the title. Before the CU Combat Medic experience was all healing and crafting base and before publish 6 or 7 CM's had absolutely noterrain negotiation meaning that a player would have to invest innot onlymasteringMedic but also picking up 4/0/0/0 of scout just to keep up with the group. Combat Medics and Squad Leaders were designed more for group oriented play rather than solo builds; however, over time CM was the one which prevailed and became best used when solo (Fire Spider venom from the Geonosian Cave).



CM's pre-CU were more of a pain due to insane DoTs though post CU all healing is skewed because they offer about 150 less points of healing in one full tree then a master in either Doctor or Combat Medic. It's this change inthehealing ability from one single line that makes either 4/x/x/x Doctor / Combat Medic overpowered and turns tanks into 1.5x the power of a Jedi depending on build(s) and gear. Pre-CU a single tree Doctor / Combat Medic could last for a bit but couldn't heal endlessly.
