Thread: You want more skillpoints? Consider this...

All 5 noviceboxes = 0 sp
All masterboxes removed (they are nerfed anyway)*
No more whines. Get the stuff you want to use. Everybody are dabblers, and Jedi is simply "Jedi", with 20 skillines instead of 5x4.
On a regular template this also means about+25-35 more skillpoints to be used for Aura, Channeland all other "neccessary" stuff that all non-Jedi belives all Jedi have.
Are you light and want Force Knockdown? Sure. Pick 0004 Wielder.
Are you dark and want to burst lightning? Sure. Pick 4000 Wielder.
Need more defense? Pick anything from Defender, without bothering about the 8sp for novice.
No-one needs 0040 Enhancer or 4000 Lightsaber unless they are fixed eventually.
Problem with block? Everybody grab 0004 Defender...
Problem with states? Everybody grab 0004 Healer...
Choose your template at will, you are no longer stopped by having novice Enhancer and novice Healer for 0002 Enhancer or 4000 Healer in your template
* The important stuff from the masterboxes moved down into the skillines, such as Dervish to 0004 LS, Choke to 0040 Powers, speed/accuracy divided into 4000 0400 and 0040 ls etc... Regain Conciousness maybe to 0400 Healer (Restoration), a weakened Stasis in 0040 Powers etc... Remember that the limits is removed. It doesnt matter if a power is in enhancer or defender anymore as the novice cost is removed. Who cares about "Good old stasis" when you can buy another skilline for your 0040 Enhancer that you no longer need.

I find that to be efficient...not like it will happen but good idea in my view

Sure... I mean that would work... If we do have the 24 SKill Points as Novice Proffersion Skills like for TKA... then yea your right!

Good idea other than doing away with master boxes. Well, keep MLS at least.

also remove the "force damage" modifier, so that someone who wants to dabble with lightning wont do pathetic damage with it.

The fact that 24 points are spent on 6 FS trees, would lead me to believe that the nov boxes should not count more than 1 points each. Kind of like double the requirements for novice boxes at the moment.

I dont think she meant to remove master boxes, But to remove the skill points requirement for it.
Anyway.. Good Idea.
