That's right, make the juvies CL85, toss them some better loot (less slicing components, please).. increase drop rates to a 1 in 2 chance (chance of dropping ANYTHING, that is) and make them unsoloable. By unsoloable, I mean make them dish out 900 damage/hit... beef intimidate and give us a reason to kill them in a group!

Make ancients some CL that will enable them to drop premium and flawless pearls, however just because they are CL 150 (or whatever you determine after testing) it doesn't mean they'll always drop a flawless pearl if they drop a pearl. Same with Juvies... make their minimum a "poor" and make that more likely than a "premium"..

Then let those high-level NPCs on Dathomir (Protectors, Elders, Spellweavers, whatever..) drop premium crystals again. Adjust levels accordingly...

Why wasn't this done in the first place? How come after 35 tunes of "good" pearls and "quality" crystals do I have a 600max 26fc saber?

I just gotta wonder when people ask for CL 150 and stuff like this. Have you ever been hit by something even CL 115-120?

If not I suggest you go out and get one shotted by one of these lovely high CLs. It would take probably four full groups to kill a CL 250. Then who would get the single pearl it dropped?

Let me guess, you are Master Defender, right?

Because without Avoid Incap, there is no chancea"tank"or anyone in that matter stay alive with 1 hit of CL150krayt or one choke of CL150 Nightsister (coming soon with A.I. changes) Not to mention, old krayts were not super high levels than todays, they were just taking long because of HAM values. They were hitting about same than today.

Oh people were soloing L300+ things?

Guess why? They die fast. With a HAM of 40-50K with super regen, you will die eventually compared to that poor DJM's.

lol, it wont help to change the CL, will only take longer time to kill it, damage to me will still be the same, KITE KITE KITE, thats the key, the only thing you need to do to kill ANY melee mob, and this sucks... what needs to be done is to change the AI of the game, so instead of mobs following you the way you went they take the shortest way...

I say put premium crystals in the already existing djm's and djk's on dantooine.

Just mho.

As far as Krayts go I wholehearedly agree. Any creature for which you earned a badge like an Ancient Krayt, should be a group effort. The only way to ensure a group effort is to make the Ancient Krayt elite and powerful. Let the Krayt drop premium pearls, tissues, scales, or other loot.

To me, it sounds like a bunch of kids whining because they cant solo everything in the game. Maybe, just maybe, somethings worth getting, are worth grouping up for.

Yeah there is no way anyone could beat a 150 without putting groups back to 20 players. They are not gonna do that no matter how much we want that.

Amen.

There are already CL125 mobs (Dark Jedi Masters) in the game - try fighting one of them. Unless you have AI, or friends - you will die, guaranteed. I tried kiting one a few days ago and on the rare occasion I did land an attack (CL difference), the regen just negated it. Basically with mobs like these - they are group-only affairs, and require at least one person who can keep aggro and take 2.5k+ hits without getting incapped (in other words, a MDef).

I can just about kite an ancient solo, but it requires a lot of Force (MPowers) and if I miss too many chokes the regen starts counterbalancing the damage from my attacks. As it is I'm having to use a ranged rifle to mitigate some of the regen.

Oh whatever.....

Had a group of 8 beating the DJM's and DJK's on Dath, didnt we? I know I have been in a few of those hunts. And those guys were like CL248 or something.

When all the +25 sea's were out there, I didnt hear anyone griping about being able to kill that guy.

You need all the components of a good group to be successful.
