CL 111 critters hit me for 1100 per hit...
You honestly think we could even take down a 150 with quick health regen?
I'm all for high end content, but even if the ancient was say, CL125 it would take at least 4 people, if not more to take him down. When I say 4 people I mean 4 GREAT well communicated people, not 4 people off the street.
ATM, my Jedi and a swordsman friend can take out ancient Krayts just the 2 of us. It is a hard fight, and we have to do heals, and hits correctly (or we'll die obviously) but it is possible.
Bump that CL to around 125 to 130 and it will give the high end content that should drop premi pearls.....
Flawless should be 150
IMO
They are still at old memories, thinking Krayts can hit same when levels upped but just HAM's stay.
It really doesn't matter what level because the creatures will always follow the same path you traveled as long as you do not break the line of sight.
A jedi friend and I solo DJK and krayts in under 5 minutes every time without having to heal. DJM take 10 minutes.
The trick is to have a ranged guy with arms to start shooting from 80m out. The ranged guy keeps argo and kites while the jedi moves in and attacks. Dead in minutes.
I snare and knockdown while thejediroots. Just rotate those 3 moves and the npc will never catch up to the ranged guy with argo and the melee guy never gets attacked.
I apply poison, fire, bleed and my friend chokes. Four dots and 2 hard hitters = dead npc or creature.
You could both use droids too if needed, that would equal 6dots then.

What you are describing is far more an exploit of the AI than real tactics.
I submitted a ticket about the AI.
CSR's reply, "Working as intended."

I snare and knockdown while the jedi roots. Just rotate those 3 moves and the npc will never catch up to the ranged guy with argo and the melee guy never gets attacked.

the pathing doesn't matter. with the appropriate use of snares, knockdowns, and roots a ranged player can kite any melee mob all day long without getting hit, even if the mob ran straight at you the entire time. the only issues are when uneven terrain causes LOS to be broken and the mob warps or when you kite the mob too far from it's spawn point and goes into -retreat- mode.
