Thread: squad leader + rifleman = 8607 damagee shots vs jedi

omg sniper, aim, piro + a squad leader combo and i hit before armor a level 80 player for 7436 BEFORE armor!!!!! that was against a melee stacker with energy resist armor and adv COB (2nd test was 8149 vs jedi with foods, aura expecting to get hit but 'unaware on exactly how - a guildie we didn't tell we were about to try this)

Am I calculating right that the armor on that shot defelcted something like 77% of the damage? Is that even supposed to be possible?

thats it then... , end game PvE is gonna be messed up if thats doin that kinda damage

For some reason I'm unable to see the writing in the picture. In referring to your 77% dmg mitigation though, did his target have some steak in him? The armor would mitigate half the damage and the steak another 40% of the remainder.

What's 8041 energy armor actually calculate out to % wise?

Yeah, mitigated about 76% dmg which kinda alludes to using SyntheSteak or Exo Wafers along with normal resistences and armor.

Armor maxes out at 10000 which is 60% But I didn't think about PSGs in the mix. I don't think it can be synsteak or any other foods because that would be taken out of the equation before the armor calculation and would affect the actual damage not the mitigated damage right?

what is the template of the person you are hitting?
what kind of armor are they wearing exactly? what were the exact stats on it please? has it been sliced? and if so how?
what exact foods/drinks/spices were they taking?
what is your exact complete template?
what foods/drinks/spices were you taking when you shot?
what weapon where you using? what are its exact stats? how has it been sliced?

It looks bad but in Jedi vs MBH/MR situation how many of them are actually going to go lie down, use the aim command and shoot.
To get the whole thing to work the MBH would need to find a MSL(or use an alt), then get the MSL to follow him as he tracks his mark then go prone etc.
So it might happen but it's still a very far out situation as most MBH or those with any real skill usually hunt alone.
