Thread: How Will We Address The New Jedi?
SilentSoul201 wrote:To all the real Jedi out there....Since the first holocron grinders unlocked, there have always been sort of demeaning terms used to refer to the next set of Jedi who had it easier than the previous. For example, Jediwho unlocked right after CU were called Respec Jedi, todifferentiate between a Jedi who had to grind voritors for 6 months, and a jedi who had to spin lairs for 6 days on double XP and free respec. But, regardless of the level of difficulty of grinding, nothing will be easier than CU2 Jedi. Now, granted we shouldn't be envious of the ease with which they get Jedi, since they aren't actually getting the "Jedi" toon that we all know and love, i.e. an elite character that is meant to be better than the rest. Everyone has to understand from this point onwards that the fundamental use of a Jedi, as an elite profession, is going to change, so there's really no reason to care that Jedi will be so easy to get. It won't really be much to get anyway since it's not better than anything else. But, if the newbies start spouting off about how they have a lightsaber and start disrespecting those of us who had to work for our lightsabers at a time when Jedi were truly meant to be revered, we should be able to smack em down a little bit.So, what do you guys think we should call them? Personally i would say "Free Jedi," since Jedi will literally be handed out for free. But, if that's not harsh enough for you guys, post a few ideas in here and we will see what works best. Peace out.
Just remember that there is a good number of us who will be respecing into Jedi only because they killed our beloved professions. (TK/SWORDS/PIKE).. Jedi will be the closest thing to melee we will have... kind of ironic, don't you think...

I'm thinking "Hey you" works. Then again, my sense of self worth has nothing to do with what the next guy has and how hard he did or didn't have to work to get to where I am.
I was thinking along the lines of, 'Hey, hows it feel to wast emoney on a game that will likely be gone in about 6 months?'. Followed shortly after by, 'Oh, sorry, didn't know mom got it for you.'
Well, seeing as we all posted for master / apprentice
I am a jedi elder, and a community veteran, I hate noobs that want everything handed to them, but the anamosity towards jedi will finally be gone (hope)
I personally look forward to helping others become a jedi, and I also look forward to finally PvPing with a ranged prof, not worried about a jedi gank squad rolling in and ruining it.
I appreciate Jedi as I have been one along, long time....
I also appreciate Starwars and the Civil War ... and look forward to both sides actually able to be enjoyed now.
Orbital strike anyone ? lol ...sorry ahd to say it.
lol sounds like advance wars
