Thread: How Will We Address The New Jedi?
Corn flake jedi is what ill call them, as you do get free silly gifts from the cornflake packets,
its not the changes that pissing me off it the fact that so many of us have worked long hard to achieve the jedi title, and now its reduced to this, and the reward for our work now they have done this is as i would expect, crap and about 3 sec thought put into it. How about us elders getsomething worth having, how about letting the now jedi communtity to have a chance to decide what we want for the huge rip off, and then you ppl can give us what WE asked for not what you ppl think we want.

By the way guys don't get me wrong on this, i'm not unhappy with the changes or anything, and i agree that at this point, there is really no way to sustain having one profession better than the rest when there are so many of that elite profession. Jedi as an elite prof only worked when there was a balance of number of jedi vs. strength of jedi. When there were very few Jedi, they could be extremely powerful. But as we saw, once Jedi numbers increased they had to be continually nerfed to keep the game in balance. Once you hit 50% Jedi, if Jedi are even slightly stronger than the other 50% the game can never be balanced. I understand and respect that fact, and i don't mind that the game is fundamentally changing. I am willing to change my conception of a "Jedi" toon, but i will always remember what it meant to earn a pre-NGE Jedi, and i don't want these damn corn flake jedi thinking they have earned something BETTER than anyone else. They have earned only what they have, i.e. a toon the same as any other.

Who worked hard for their Jedi?.......no-one. How long have you had Jedi is the only issue, and that depends how long you have played. If you have played longer you have better value for your $30/month than most others.
When wil those with the Elitist attitude recognise it is unattractive, childish and is obviously an insecurity reflex?
As for "pride" - it's a sin and hardly relevant to an online game, there is no sacrifice involved only opportunity cost and that depends on individual choice so no kudos here either.

i'll second this. Just becausesome of usdecided to play the game and not grind jedi from the start doesn't make us less worthy of playing a jedi. I was working on my last unlock when all this CU2 came about, and I am dissappointed that I don't get to go kill Melichae or whoever and go do the Paddie trials. After 16 months of playing, 14 Mastered profession (ok 2 of those respecs), if I decide I want ot try out a jedi I am going to. And if anyone calls me a CORNFLAKE JEDI they will find my LS shoved where the sun don't shine.
Remember, most of the new jedi will have respecced to it because they had the skill points to do so, meaning that they GRINDED those skill pts, worked for them. Please save the amnimosity for the Ebay jedi, those that didn't work for their character.
