My Signature is simple:
SWG has been converted into a manageable resource. More content and new features can and will be added. SWG is not going anywhere and neither am I.
Download Ventrilo or TeamSpeak and use it with groups
re-bind your key bindings and learn them(muscle memory)

So why would anyone get that?

...Posting rants on these forums is like a rocking chair; it gives you something to do, but it doesn't get ya anywhere... write that down.

lots of reasons. one of the best of which is when a BH/CM snares me, i just turn on FR2 until i'm close enough to root them, run up to them, turn it off, and start pounding them. it renders snares ineffective. it allows YOU to kite THEM, if you so desire. it allows you to break LoS with them if you need to for some reason (get behind a house and break aggro to pull something from a crate, etc). There are lots of reasons to grab it. one of the best is that depending on your template, you may only have skill points left to grab a 4th tier box, and the force points, force regen, and better root make Celerity 4 the best choice.

oh, it's also nice for moving stuff between your factories, lol.

There's no reason to pick FR2 whatsoever.

FR1 is awesome. FR2 is a worthless forcehog.

To get away, use regular Force Suppression. It gives you a head start with ForceRun1.

This is one of the great reason people suggests MEnhancer is broken.

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

Suggesting anything else would be a fraud.

Paying 3 times more force to run as fast as burstrun, and be forced to turn it off whenever I need to deal damage, comparing to paying 50force and be permanently faster, with the 2ndary option to use burstrun if I need to be temporarily faster...

Yeah... that's a great choice. But I think I stick to the second option.
