Thread: krayts and pearl drops... (this has nothing to do with the lack of prems)

whats your highest number of krayts killed ina row without looting a pearl?

im up to 15 in a row with nothing but slicer parts
8 canyons, 6 juvy's, and i killed one ancient to see if he'd drop one, but nothing..

ah well can anyone beat this? lol

Whats funny is at least you have them on your server lol.

probably 15 with no pearls. I only kill Juvies but on a brighter note I killed 4 in a row last week and looted 3 pearls. Only 1 out of thoes 4 didnt drop a pearl.

we killed atleast 25 in a row one night -no pearls-The other day I killed 10 and got 6 pearls.

since the patch that moved good bh loot to mbh, everything's drop rate was cut.

and that's everything from juvi's to giant canyon's.

i did get one last nite off my 3rd giant, and it tuned to 31 dmg.......

am i uber now?

Wander had a problem with no krayt spawns. We tracked it down to the number of Bases. The base score was well over 1600 combined. Once we started taking out all the FOs the krayts came back.

20 in a row is my worst streak (quickly followed by 4 pearls from krayt numbers 21-26).


on a side note, do juvies actually drop pearls? I hadn't seen anything drop from one in a long time, so I haven't bothered to kill any recently, just the canyon's I find them paired with. Is it actually worth it to kill the juvie's too?

FO is for Forward Outpost, they are the low level bases in the GCW.
