man i agree whole heartedley i have regrinded my temp 3 times since CU and i tell you what some of these jedi have no clue about anything, one guys asked me what do i put in my saber to make it stronger. at first i thought he was pulling my leg but after a few minutes i realized he wasnt. i was totally ashamed to even have grinded with this guy. it just amazing how people can do so much to achieve something they know nothing about in the time it took them to get it. when i first started i knew everything i needed to stock up on while i was grindding my way to jedi in the first week. these guys can grind for months and learn nothing. but hey more cows for the sluaghter when FRS comes back online

I was in a group with you Valius and prehaps i should defend those post- CU jedi out there.

I enjoyed your talk about how you were able to use FR whilst doing full damage and how much you loved it and how effective it was, what was it you needed to do again something about logging out and back in with it runing to get the speed without the damage reduction.

And my dear jedi "master" how was fightclub for you all those BH's lined up for you to kill counts as pvp for you and pleased you take pride in yourself as a pvp'er without actualy doing any pvp in order to gain rank.

Your a joke Valius you complain about jedi wanting to get jedi and yet with yours you do nothing but find way to abuse the intended system, if i didnt know you were exploiting i would have not posted but i KNOW you are from what you have said in group chat when ive been in a group with you.

You talk about easy FRS points and yet you would fightclub to get master so please dont take the moral highground here because its people like you which made the devs need to remove it.

Before you rant Valius i would think about what you say since now that people are often forced to group with people they dont know, so i would be careful about what you say in group chat because it will come around the corner and bite you on the butt.

I think people like you whose playstyle is expoilting has nothing to do with pvp or pve its about screwing the game over and all the players so you can get ahead.

Im ashamed to see jedi like you out here and you give the jedi profession a bad name

Ive been in plenty of jedi grind groups and for the most part they have been good people, of course some people do spoil it but if im leader they are removed from the group.

Im saying is that just because alot of jedi are post-CU doesnt mean they are all bad and infact alot of pre-CU jedi are just as bad so its not about when you unlocked its about how you play and interact with the people you are with.

And my dear jedi "master" how was fightclub for you all those BH's lined up for you to kill counts as pvp for you and pleased you take pride in yourself as a pvp'er without actualy doing any pvp in order to gain rank. - OLD news get over it, i don;t even wear the title anymore and changing the sig here soon.

Your a joke Valius you complain about jedi wanting to get jedi and yet with yours you do nothing but find way to abuse the intended system, if i didnt know you were exploiting i would have not posted but i KNOW you are from what you have said in group chat when ive been in a group with you. - i was tanking for a group one night. Not only did i have to tank, but i had to keep myself healed cause no one would help, when i got incapped i layed there for almost a minute without getting healed. People would start spinning lairs before gorup was ready causing others to get trippled. When i offered tips to get mroe xp people argued. Yes valour there are STUPID people out there.

I have received many thanks and mails form the newer jedi who i hepled get more xp, who's spin gorups i bettered and how i was able to get the morons out of groups who kept screwing it up for everyone else.

Im pleased to hear that but it sucks to be judged doesnt it like the assumptions you have made about some of our newer jedi, i can think of one newer jedi who keep sme alive when i tank and without her the group would fall to pieces since im newer tank as i droped powers to become a defender.

Its a good sign you are removing it from sig and title and i hope you earn the title fairly next time.

This i have to agree with ive been killed a fair few times because people wernt doing their roles and left me tanking, healing and damaging all at the same time, in these groups i will leave if they dont listen to how the group should function.

You talk about easy FRS points and yet you would fightclub to get master so please dont take the moral highground here because its people like you which made the devs need to remove it. Again get the phuck over it already

Im over it i never entered the old system partly because i was still grinding when it was in the game but also because it is against my playstyle, im hoping for a more story and immersive FRS when it comes back which caters for ALL playstyles.

Before you rant Valius i would think about what you say since now that people are often forced to group with people they dont know, so i would be careful about what you say in group chat because it will come around the corner and bite you on the butt. - I don't give a sh!t what they say, but i know dumbasses when i see them wnd will gladly point it out to help them change to better the xp for the group.

As experienced players sometimes its important to explain how the group works because ive met a few jedi who have no idea how a group functions and the role they play because alot of us didnt have to group in the old days.

I think people like you whose playstyle is expoilting has nothing to do with pvp or pve its about screwing the game over and all the players so you can get ahead. - Yeah, cause i'm a selfish retard lol

Who isnt but exploits ruin the game and force the devs to concentrate their time on things which have little effect to the gaming experience or they requirea nerf to achieve balance, these effect everyone even you in the end.

Im ashamed to see jedi like you out here and you give the jedi profession a bad name - I'm glad you know how everyone thinks, moron. I cant lie you worked well in the group and some people dont, but again as an experienced player its your job to make sure everyone knows what they are doing and how they are going to do it, this is a group role which doesnt require grinding but requires experience of a diferent type.

If i seemed harsh i apologise but you also made alot of assumptions about some of our new jedi, alot of which i play with, and the ones i play with are very good team players and i will always want them along even if they are a low combat level.

Older players need to help newer players rather than attacking them and of course their are the odd helpless cases out there who just wont listen and go all Leeroy Jenkins on the group these should be booted for the better of the group but people i find are reluctant to remove people i find.

If everytime someone acted up and messed around with the group then they should be removed they would start to learn to either listen and be part of a group or get used to the solo grind.

i'm sure there are newer jedi that are aweome peole and group players, thats why i didn't post any names. And as an experienced player i did try to help the group and explain to the people who didn't knwo what to do, but sometimes they wouldn't listen or agrue back, these are the people i am talking about

Rubbish, what makes you think you deserve your Jedi? Oh yes you have played longer than them, is that it? Everyone is entitled to become Jedi if they wish, it is not a exclusive group. If every single person who plays SWG wants to become a Jedi then let them, it is not up to the Elitest to decide who does and does not deserve it. Perhaps if people got off their high horses and actually helped people along, things would not be so bad.

I really do tire of these 'Ive got my Jedi now, lets limit everyone else so i can be cool' threads

whoa! there m8. who are you to decide who "deserves" to have a jedi, and who doesnt. This isnt a football team, or some sports club. This is a game. Anyone, and I mean anyone, who can do what is needed to get jedi, "deserves" jedi.

You can't really fault the new players for not knowing about their profession.

There's no in-game Jedi tutorials teaching you about crystals, skills, trainers, etc. If the player doesn't read the forums the only source of information is asking other Jedi.

Furthermore, there's not a lot a new Jedi can do other than grinding. The insipid CL system drives your XP and ties you to group grinding. Throw in visibility and the game's lack of easily available, rewarding quests and you can see why new-player Jedi are where they are.
