Thread: Jedi Viz campers Baciacca whats the deal on this?

I have seen a couple of other posts on this but last night it happened to our group.


Bagheera walked right up to our group and pretended to act like he had never seen a jedi. It became obvious that he knew exactly what he was doing and eventually he said that the rules say nothing about viz camping. He followed us for at least 45min to 1 hour from lair to lair.


Whats the deal here? Is it harrasment if he keeps following us around? Half our group couldn't fight because they didnt want the viz from this guy. We reported him and stated our problem but is anything going to be done about this?

Being a Jedi means that non-jedi can do and get away with anything they want. It's a sad truth. Name Calling, Griefing, Harrassment, it's all apparently allowed if you have a Jedi toon.

Devs are going to say its fine. Cause lets face it thats the viz system working as intended. Devs probably would have rewarded the guy for ruining a jedi players time in a hope that he would quit.

Thanks for getting back so quick Baciacca. Im not as worried about now as I am almost full template but It still seems wrong and for those who are not close to full template it would certainly not be good for them to be gettting viz even though their intentions were to fight without getting any viz.


Even full templates don't necessarily want to be at the top of the list when BH's select their missions.


Hopefully something can be done.

45 mins to an hour. Wow. After 10 mins of BS like thatI would have arranged via groupchat to re-form in some player city somewhere else.

It's one thing to claim rp that you are tracking and reporting jedi/giving vis, but the rp should be opened up to allow the jedi some defense. If vader was out grinding somewhere and some unwanted punk strolled up on him and refused to move along, you think vader's only recourse would be to find somewhere else to hunt? Hardly.


There is plenty of vis to be had without being harrassed by envious losers stalking groups. This inteferes with the stalkees' gameplay and should be dealt with as a violation of the EULA.

Nah, they just need to institute a non-PvP system, with Lord Vader himself at the top, with alot of blue glowy time. Kind of like what was in the design docs for the game. Do that, get rid of BH missions, and watch the twits zerg in on the GCW SF.

I believe it needs to be brought to attention because those jedi who try to not get viz will be forced to either travel around or to log off. This is not right, no matter what. What would a jedi padawan do against a Master BH. He would die and lose exp. Then be forced to try and grind that lost exp back and risk getting killed again and losing even more exp. My fear is that viz camping will become a much bigger deal than it already is.







The travel is pretty killer though what with the shuttle waits of up to two minutes and our own starships and all.
