This would also give the Jedi an option to avoid viz thru direct action ala Han and Chewy when they attacked that probe on Hoth (Empire Strikes Back).

Any thoughts?

Isn't that how they got found out? Not that this has happened yet.

Go find a BH running NPC's bounties. Cloak. Follow. When his mark spawns... kill the mark. Rinse repeat. Not sure if it would work, but wonder how they'd feel about the shoe on the other foot...

Yeah. Just find a random bounty hunter and with no prior knowledge as to where he's going or what he's doing for sure, follow him while you're cloaked and he's on his BARC. If you manage to find his mark first (highly unlikely since they seem to only physically spawn when the BH is within 400 meters or so), uncloak and kill it. Keep doing that. Enjoy the vis you get from the NPC mark as well as the bounty hunter. Also enjoy the fact that if he's out hunting NPC's and not Jedi he's probably not one of those guys who follows Jedi around to give vis. Also enjoy the fact that even if you do kill his mark, he still gets the payout. And enjoy that he'll probably outdamage you and get the loot anyway.

For 100% sure...but you are not allowed to attack someone elses bounty. I tried to help a guy the other day. WhenI met him, he was trying to kill his mark, but was having some trouble...I couldnt attack it...so I just healed him,

It still disrupts my gameplay. And I dont think you understand the point I am trying to make.

What will jedi do if everywhere they go someone viz griefs them. Traveling somewhere else would not be an option. Now I realize its not that bad YET! but there is nothing to stop every BH from simply finding jedi and autofollowing them in their free time as well as alt characters and other jedi haters.

Hey JediWanter. Go somewhere else. Sorry not all Jedi like PvP and sorry not all Jedi are as UBER as you. Ive played this game from day one, I did the hologrind, etc. etc. The game is different today and its time a-holes like you started realizing its not like it used be. I personally am not worried about being attacked. Im trying to have an issue addressed and see what SOEs answer is. I didnt ask for it to be nerfed or changed (although I still feel its wrong) I just asked for answer. Grow up and post something constructive.

i don't suppose anyone has ever stopped to think that constant whining about difficulty, snubbing 80% of the jedi allure (rarity, difficulty, power), and vehemently protesting mechanics to promote them, may actualy ruin someone else's gaming experience? or may actually ruin EVERYONES gaming experience?

i mean, where's my /report option? jedi used to be powerful and rare.now they are prolific and weak, it's directly because of complaints like these, and posters like these. imo the players who want to see a real galactic civil war, have a competitive endgame between all player classes, things THIS GAME PROMISED, are the real victims here. not this guy and his occasional ineffectual encounter with a BH. the only real recourse i have to get an authentic GCW experience, is to go into space (where i might note jedi are attempting to assert the same kind of rediculousinfluence daily).

gaming experience ruined. please.mymultiplayer gaming experience has been essentiallyruined for close to 2 years now, with limited solo and occasional MP alternatives.

PVP is 90% jedi now, there's ZERO semblance of the galactic civil war that is occuring in this time frame, and there never will be, no matter what happens. UNLESS normal player classes continue to get boosts and jedi stay the same, which will result in snubbed jedi quitting, numbers dropping, and the game shutting down.

and people actually entertain these kinds of threads?

imoyou guys arethe griefers. on a much much larger scale. just my opinion, i realize i'm in the minority. when the game shuts down though, bugs and an early release will be 60% responsible. but 40% of the blame rests on people who share the sentiment of the OP i believe.

I have tried plenty of things. I have done the grind just about everywhere at some point in time.

Again this post is just to get answer. Not for you to tell us to stop crying about it. Is there something wrong with asking if something can be done? No

If they say there is nothing they can do then fine. Ill deal with it. Untill then I have simply asked to hear what they think.

Ways to stop them from finding you: Don't make it so simple to find you. You are supposed to be in hiding and doubly so if you're deliberately trying to avoid visibility. Dantooine = visibility. Period. The not-so-secret Jedi grinding spotwhere people are spamming"LFG! Level 80 and Jedi only!"= visibility. Period.Don't grind from the same cities every time. If you really are avoiding visibility, you should be avoiding it as actively as those guys are supposedly trying to give it to you.

Ways to stop them from autofollowing you: Get them stuck on a mineral extractor or a house and they won't be able to follow you. Do lair missions for aggressive creatures like cannibal dewbacks. Shuttle to another city and don't tell him where you're going.
