Thread: Why you guys trying to destroy your own profession?

Seriously guys all i see on the front page is NERF this or please dont NERF me, pre-cu jedi > post-cu jedi, and cloak is too powerful, powers is too weak, defender is overpowered and so on............
I dont see this in any other forum board smuggler's support and ask for improvements in professions which need it and in return rangers and commando's and so on ask for improvements in other professions.
I know alot of good jedi, i consider myself a good jedi aswell, though these guys dont post here because this forum has become nothing more than a hate board to everyone who isnt jedi and doesnt have your template.
I see the same repetitive topic being posted time and time again raising no new points and just adding to the worthless threads already all over this forum board then i see how some jedi respond to constructive post rather than making a point they look to insult and attack the poster which further highlights that the person flaming the post has nothing to say and is only making up for there own personal short comings.
Is there any suprise that jedi are so universaly hated in the game at the moment just look at your forum its a joke and i think a few of you guys need to find the exit to your parents basements and look at real life for a little bit, trust me SWG is fun but real life wins hands down.
No other profession takes this game as seriously as jedi do and to me this highlights a big problem with the people who are playing jedi, though this isnt exclusively jedi only problem, you get so involved in the game that its impossible to see just what it is a simple game to have fun in.
Jedi has issues so do a lot of professions ive looked at what they have done to creature handler and squad leader also what they have planned for ranger and smuggler and i see they are trying to fix or improve these much needed professions, jedi have received a lot of attention in the past because they have created a hugh imbalance in the game but also been very bad for the setting of star wars because jedi is part of star wars though jedi armies are not so the only way to balance this is to make jedi weaker which seems to be what is happening.
Jedi is a cool profession and the way it was implemented into the game sucks and this is the developers poor game design though players are what make the profession what it is and if you look at the smuggler board youll see the community is quite tight with each other and when you come here everyone is flaming everyone and anyone because they must have some short comings they need to make up for.
There is a big diference in flaming and attacking someone than their is supplying constructive arguement, if you cant supply a constructive arguement it seems quite obvious the person posting has no point and in that case has already lost the arguement.
PS i expect to be flamed knowing the tone of this forum but its only a game and to be honest i dont take that seriously, my job i take seriously, my rl relationships i take seriously and my health i take seriously.

Haven't read your whole thread (in work) but the reason Jedis invariably call for nerfs on Jedis is because each of the 5 Jedi Masteries (Lightsabre, Defender, Enhancer, Powers, Healer) are essentially completely seperate professions.
Professions have been calling for nerfs on other professions since the dawn of time in every MMORPG, and will continue to do so for an eternity. It is the way of all things.

I dont think age has much to do with it i work as a youth worker and see some very mature and independent young people which would make a lot of adults rethink their behaviour.
Ive also seen a lot of 30 year olds when im out and about causing problems and starting fights with people at the pub or club when im out, i dont believe age has much to do with personal maturity.

Every smuggler has the same skillset - every jedi doesn't. Remember that cool concusion shot. Someone else yelled nerf. Cloak is a cool ability in a useless profession. There are only 4 powers skills worth using. The rest are broke or misfire 50% of the time. Cloak isn't anymore an advantage than force run. Besides force run you can keep on the tail of a cloaker and kill him.

But youll find smugglers supporting changes to squad leader, creature handler, commando, and so on.....
One thing you dont see are them calling nerfs on other profession nor do you see in other professions my concern is why does this effect jedi, then again it does effect BH aswell, so why does it happen?

for all u non jedi, whats does it matter to you...we know what we need much better than a bunch of jealous non jedi players who come here to post such garbage. Until you put in the game what we have and loose it all because soe wants to save money stay out and shut up. The biggest whiners are not jedi, they are the "I would like to be a jedi but its too much work wankers" like you.

im half temp and i love grinding with non jedi-my guild mosytly. its fun. enjoyable. and they get to see things they are/might be working for.

My jedi is called Jorrai shes is lightsaber/powers with 3000 healer and 0002 enhnacer and i made it clear in my OP that i had a jedi if you care to actually read it.
You appear to be one of the jedi who seem flame without actualy making a constructivesingle point and most of all without actualy fully reading the post thus not understanding it.
I know many non-jedi who are non-jedi out of choice and not grinding fs skills at all and are enjoying the game as it is without the need to bash other professions they have a problem with.
I think your post highlighted the fact alot of what i said in my OP is true, you didnt make any constructive comment on the post and attacked me and rather than back up your opinion with facts, all i can do is thank you for backing me up in your actions your support is much appreciated.
