When I've tested Force Regen it seems ok when tested...


...But how come just late last night I killed about 20 Canyon Corsairs at the POI (with the same 2-3 hit combos, refreshing aura and valor manually witn the occassional infusion) before my Force got down to 50 or so percent. Yet tonight I kill 10, and I'm down to 50%.


I'm killing them the exact same way, using my Force powers the exact same way but for some reason I'm losing Force. I've been keeping my character sheet up watching the numbers and it seems like the only answer is maybe Force costs associated with sabers has increased.

I keep testing regen and it is +55 per 10 seconds for me just like it says on the char sheet. Or maybe we used to regen faster than we are now and not at the rate it said we did per 10 seconds?

Either way it seems the Force bar is becoming a short term limiter, rather than long term.

I can't figure this out.

Anyone have any ideas? I've been testing this all day but for the life of me cannot figure out what the heck is going on.

I haven't logged in my Jedi since pub23 went live, but from what I read someplace, the new buff indicator is bugging the robes, where it shows just the additional force power, but not the regeneration bonus.

Maybe thats the case?

I can add three more Jedi to the list that KNOWS something was changed. I went thru 5k of force in less than 2 minutes using same strategy I always use. I fought the same template MBH/MCM that I've fought countless times before and this time I couldn't keep up. I used to be able to tank krayts and BHers without a single worry, today I am really messed up.

I am telling you, at SOE, something is VERY wrong. My Jedi and several others on Ahazi swear we just got hit with a big nerf we cannot pinpoint.

Needless to say, we do alot of krayt hunting. Tonight, a CL79 Juvie killed two of us in seconds like me defense skill were gone. We think it might of just been a bugged krayt, but I can tank these things normally with very little if any healing. Tonight, they were costing me a huge amount of force and health to hunt.

It's like there is something eating up my force in chunks that I am missing. It doesn't always happen, but we are all seeing it. We already know the robes are broken, and I my force regeneration I suspect is bugged.

I don't know what is going on, but alot of us are much weaker today.

funny I just hopped to the forums to investigatte this myself. I noticed the same thing I even threw in my -8 and -9fc crystals (since I am not lucky enough to have decent damage and fc on the same ones) and I am absolutely going through my force more than 50% faster than previously.. good news is that now I run out of force before i run out of action/mind so my channel almost seems beneficial now. but seriously. yes something is awry.

Glad it's not just me, this must be saber Force Cost related. Maybe the force cost on saber moves is not static anymore, but is variable? Which is why we don't always see the change.

Maybe the nerf is saber force cost now has a range, say 2-5 or 50-100 for certian moves instead of 2 and 50.

I've logged my jedi for a short while, before I got piss@d with this broken publish. But before I logged I dueled my BH friend for a couple of minutes. I was terrified how fast I was losing force. It looks like force cost on everything was increased like 5 times. After a 5 minutes duel i was down to half force. 3 duels and I was left with 12% of force. And it was just a friendly duel, as we wanted to check if zipbars were fixed (they weren't :/). But if real BH came i'd be so dead. He would just outlast me in 10 mintes and killed me.

Good point. When i would drive to the next mission or just be out of combat for a time regen seemed normal. Why is it they always seem to find new things to break?

i have a horrid saber so i have not posted a thread about this, i played for about 3 hours when it first went live this morning, and was losing force like i had a leak or something.

one 5 minute duel and im empty. killed a noob BH this morning, lasted all of 90 seconds, i was down to 35% wearing my robe

something is wrong.

Pearls are important but nailing down the problem with burning Force is waaay more important, this needs a hot fix. Keep this thread at the top please.
