if people are crying from the jedi forums, I am not surprised. .... I would say that as of late jedi have hurt our own profession enough as it is ....

Congrats to the dedicated Rangers who have long awaited this change, may it be everything you hoped for!

Very true. Just in developement, no publish date. I think the ability to steal stuff will be given to smugglers anyways since stealing should be one of their abilities. The Ranger post was just showing Rangers were getting some love, and seeing as to all the things Rangers have lost looks likea positive move. Though forage can be useful, don't see why they would bother removing that ability. I think people are just a littler nervous that Cloak will be changed by the Devs, though it shouldn't since the Rangers skills seems to be completely different.

Rangers NEED this. Remember, even if BH's go MRanger, MBH, they wont have ANY healing, except x/x/1/x medic.

however the ranger/mbh will get recon armor to wear aka energy armor.

Hopefully they reduce the skill point cost or it wont matter. I would like to think that ranger would take only 4xxx scout now that all the hunting/trapping/camping stuff has been removed from it. As it stands SP cost is my biggest complaint about ranger, well besides that they are not rangers but high priced scouts.

It will be interesting so see where their ability to see thru a cloak is? and if it is reliable, then a ranger will be a bounty hunters new best friend in tracking a cloaked Jedi. Nerf call , nope but once something gets momentum it may take on a new life of its own. The possibility of seeing thru a cloak is huge, I would suggest that folks read thru this list and address concerns. I would rather be alittle proactive upfront and address it now than deal with a mess later on, with a little sigh that says "I told ya So". Luck to you all

Yes, it was stated that Rangers now will wear Recon Armor.
