I think its a great idea, i hope those chaff flares that rangers make can flush out cloakers 
And considering they are still the only profess which needs an entire novice prof they deserve it.
And if we dont call for the nerfs the quicker they get on to our FRS and getting us our prems!

I HAVE SEEN 1 RANGER ON LOWCA AND THAT WAS WHEN WERE HUNTING FOR DJK/DJMS ON DANTOONIE LOPEsfop

There probably are rangers that do pvp, its a big galaxy you cant have seen every single person.
After this revamp no doubt we will see rangers taking part in PvP, all thoose usefull abilities
allow them to be an excellent support profession.
Atm Rangers are limited in their effectiveness, this revamp will make them fun again

pretty sure there is not 1 ranger on lowca that pvps safe too say that 100%, man half the dark jedi dont pvp , why would a ranger pvp?

Why would anybody take part in PvP? Cos its fun and makes a change to bashing picekts 24/7.
How do u know rangers dont take part in PvP in other servers. Most of the Jedi population, Light and Dark
take part in PvP on Chimaera. If i make my alt a Mranger i'd go take part in pvp
This revamp will proabbly increase the amount of rangers who take part in pvp.
Besides how can u tell the difference between a Master Ranger and another profession in pvp if he or she
isnt wearing the title?
Because they dont place a High tech field camp in front of u? Currently there arent any Ranger abilities
that would be efefctive in pvp so a ranger wouldnt use them, they'd use a carb or a pike.
This revamp is what the Rangers Deserve having no love from the CU. I congratulate all the Master Rangers
who have waited this out. Well done!

no it wouldnt how can i be ignorant whne i have pvpd on lowca since 2003 and know all the people who left quit and still remina in pvp? i kill them evertime we log on for pvp,
pvp is only thing left, all else is **edit**ing around on ventrilo and pvp

Like any of this has any bearing on what will happen after the ranger revamp.
Besides the fact that they allready said ranger will most likely have its prereq sp cut down to be in line with other elite profs. It will also yield combat bonuses which have yet to be carved in stone. Plus the possible addition of factional pvp stealable items. First go to the dev tracker and read the information and then let itslowly work through your mind for awhile.
I allready know of one master ranger who pvp's.

I agree, give it some time. Things will change before/if this goes live. And even if it don't change, there won't be much to do about it... so no since in crying.

Hmmm. I remember saying this exact same thing to you in my post that got deleted. I knew the nerf calls and crying would come hard and fast and they have.
Yeah i remember the post. LOL. Of course that was when the information was less than hour and half old. There were only 2-3 threads at the time on the boards.
Hehe Alot more than 2 or 3 now.

to the jedi supporting Ranger-- thank you. it is refreshing to see people putting others' needs ahead of their own.
to the others...well, nothing rude, but I hope you come around. Rangers have needed love for a long time (been a Ranger for over 2 years now myself) and I don't think the changes will drastically change your skills.

2. The Rangers generally seems to be ok with it.
So why are you complaining about a Ranger revamp on the jedi forum, that the rangers seems happy with?
