did u re-equip your weapon before u did the test ? U need to re-equip after logon / shuttle / zoning

test before u re-equip and then after u will see a difference

That has been the result since the beginning of the cu.

Some have suggestedthat the modded clothes may only decrease your chance of being hit, but they don't seem to result inactual damage reduction. Others thought itmight notshow up because for a high level toon those mods were already high, but I don't think they are actually working. The terrain negotiation mod works fine though and you can definitely tell the difference with and without it.

I did run a test on this along time ago with some guildies, with no clothes on I was hit everytime. With BE Clothes on I was missed a few times, cant remember exact number.

This was a while ago, and might have changed. We did the experiment over 20 basic saber hits just FYI.

That's probably because your defenses are so much higher that the mob's accuracy, that it's already hitting for it's minimal damage. You'll get hit a little less but think about it.

M.Def already has about 250 defenses. Add 500 to that with improved aura, we're at 750 defenses. Going from 750 to 800 doensn't change much.

The cap for any single mod equiped by clothing / items is +25. This was asked a bunch of times at the most recent Fan Fest and the answer was always a definitive yes.

It was always believed that BE defense mods were broken though the recent dequip/requip weapon deiscovery for vegasprine may have been the issue.

problem with this is if your takking in to account PVP eliments.

your attackers Accuracy your defence to that weapon.

your attacked by x player with 140 melee accuracy you have 125 melee defence / damage = extra damage.
your attacked by Y player with 120 melee accuracy you have 125 melee defence / damage = default value

well i think this is how it works anyways. why you guys thnink COB dueliststance & force aura give 250 to 500 defence.

i make my own Bio clothes and i havent had any trouble with the melee and ranged Defences, also teh Unarmed damage does work as does the terrain negoation. I also tested the taming visious and wild creatures mod tehy also work. Had a MCH try to tame a CL 70 failed 4 times in a row, then equiped clothes and got it on first try. I am also still conducting test on the other stats. Havent gotten to it yet.

Also about you having +64 to melee and Ranged Defence's. the mod only stakcs up to +25 so oyu will only see the benefit of +25, if you are a high lv and a creature hits you for say 100, the mods of +25 at that lv will hardley if any noticible damage reduction. As the higher lv you get in defences i.e. you have melee def. of 100 youll get hit for 100 (just an example people) and you add +25 to that for a total of +125 melee Def. the higher it gets the less noticible it is. So maybee you would notice a damage reduction down to about 99 or 98 if any at all.
