It's no secret that when the CU came around Jedi where the last considered at all in the revamp. To add insult to injury BH's got loot and we got our precious Krayts filled with smuggler garbage. Who actually thinks anyone actually hunts them for the smuggler garbage.
So with this new expansion the devs might actually give Jedi somehting aside from NERFS. I hated the defender nerf of AI basically rendering the tree a joke in itself. I see the whiners saying a defender can fight in battle for 4 minutes staright popping AI. They are idiots because if you pop AI for 4 minutes your certainly not fighting because of the enormous force costs.
LOOT is the topic. There is 0 way for a full template Jedi to improve themselves wihtout paying a BH for ca's. Holos drop off Imperial NPC's and NOT rebel NPC's. Krayts are a joke and basically those that go after the good crystals and pearls I wish you luck.
We have nerfed ourselves into oblivion. First it was the enhancers who could not figure out they had an I win button against defenders with stasis. So defender got nerfed. Then the drain wars had to be put to an end. Then the cloakers with FR3 abused the skill so much that whiners got that nerfed as well. I expect stasis is next but thats another topic.
Give us back our way to improve i.e. FRS and let us actually have some highend content/loot and maybe it will be worth a return. Otherwise it will just bea game where we are content for the MBH/MCM that we are 1.5 time stronger then (Must be with foods incorporated into the equasion and without the uber armor and AB slices they have)

Wow... to all those people saying that WoW sucks, I want to thank you for providing support evidence. In fact, I see WoW as the pioneering MMO of our day. Why? Well I remeber the good ol' days for pre CU. It was damn fun, I enjoyed the hell out of it. Oh, and I loved spamming specials and soloing kryats. I had a good time at it. PvP sucked, but that was because it was plain unbalanced. They pop out the CU, too many bugs for me, and I had no idea how I was going to grind my jedi, so I quit. I went to WoW. I loved WoW, until I hit level 60. Bigger Items does not equal content in my eyes. So I come back to SWG, because I hear a few good things from my buddies that still play. I can't tell you how often I find myself saying... wow, this is exactly like WoW. The combat system post CU heavily reflects WoW, and the cool down and bright flashy special colors etc. ANywho, I guess thats not what this post is about. And before I get flamed, I provided more information, and evidence for my view of why WoW doesn't suck, whereas others simply state that it sucks... and that designers are now trying to make a game taht tops WoW, not just in sales but game play. I think that speaks volumes about the game.
Why come back? I don't know to tell you the truth. IMO there is no community in WoW. Sure you have guilds and what not, but its all formed so that you can have people to run 20-40 man instances to get better gear. There really is no other reason to be in a guild, beside having a bunch of people to go gank lobies with. I like SWG, because you can almost make instant friends and enemies in this game. Faces don't go away like they do in WoW. People can talk smack about eachother in battles. I like how SWG has an older crowd. WoW is filled to the brim with 12 yearolds, that think they got something on you. In SWG, I can waste hours decorating my house. Every face is a uniqe face. Customization is huge in this game. Also, I find the content in this game to be bad, but in WoW, its worse... at least when your 60. And my #1 reason for coming back, is because I have a jedi, and no matter how much they nerf jedi, I'm still going to be one, and I'm going to the baddest looking Ithorian with a Light Saber in this game.
Conclussion. I like WoW, I met some great people on SkullCrusher. I love WoW's graphics, but what it comes down to, is community and me not needing to be a power gamer, or should I say not having anyother option but becoming a power gamer for better gear. I love SWG, and I'm sad that I left in the first place.
I also think, that by posting this, you are in some way expressing your discontent with WoW, and you are longing for SWG. My 2 cents.

There isn't a game out there I enjoy as much as SWG. I've tried a lot of them, AO, EQ2, EQ, WoW. Even if I do get destroyed by people who spend 2 days building their template vs a year (for me). SWG has a community-like system no other game out there has and probably ever will have.
agree 100%
