yeah ive had it a few times and i agree its a crock that it happens and needs fixed ASAP,however its not baciacca's fault,its not even close to being his fault,so thats a little dumb to say,i usually agree with your posts but so far you've referred to baciacca as a "she" and now you're saying its his fault that BH exploit the droid thing,maybe you should learn exactly what baciacca's job is before you decide to mention his name in a post again,all he can do is relay info to the devs from the jedi community,and i dunno about you but i dont seem to see alot of posts about this

It's Bacta Spray (the area heal) ability that does this and it is bull**edit**. I tested it on my alt and it's ridiculous to watch my droid die 50 times while following the alt spamming heals all the way that work on her and the droid.

Sisra relies heavily on this method on ahazi. I agree it is total bs .

its HIS job to address issues and this is becoming a huge issue. I have requested a thread on this from HIM several times. I really didnt mean to single him out but the first step in to getting this addressed comes through him. This is a major issue of why we are not 1.5 times stronger because without droids bh/mcm are almost an even match...add the droid exploit and we are in the hole4 times over. you can barley beat any bh with our sabers as it is because of no real damage, throw in one full heal of over 2k and equates to the waste of 4 decent saber hits after all the modifiers are subtracted out negated by one extremely low cost push of a button, which by the way is macro'd and spammed because of the lack of any penalties with it. Yes we have tons of problems but this one is going to bet bigger and bigger as bh and others get away with it.

just incap the droid then lure them 30m from it.

sometimes you get caught in confined spaces and the point is that the exploit can be done. It just simply needs to be rid of completely. All the bh has to do is use bacta spray that they are putting on constant running macro to heal it constantly....it just follows you around right after its rezzed. or zombied as i call it.

I made a post a few weeks ago asking if healing a droid using Bacta was intended or not. Sadly I got no reply from a Dev.

One thing to note. Droid repair kits cost little action and no mind to use from what I could tell. They also heal for much more than B. Spray (over 2k for a kit and only 1k for spray). From what I could tell they also did not use a combat round (just like stims). They do have a short timer so you can't spam them one after the other (sorry, I did not time it).

So even if Bacta is not used to heal dont expect droid healing to go away. Infact, repair kits may be an even wiser move from a BH perspective due to the lower action/mind cost relative to spray.

I have not finished testing them out yet so I am not sure about the range on the repair kits.

This is in our favor.. everytime you incap the droid, They use mind healing it, Keep incapping it and they run out of mind faster

Yes, I have had this happen to me. The BH kept healing the droid. I don't think healing droids is intentional. From what I have read in the past from the DE forums is that some of the code was merged with the new CH/pet code. It wasn't always the case that you could heal droids.

I have come to the conclusion that I can't defeat a BH. I stasis, meditate, channel, nade, cloak, and repeat until I'm ready to stop the fight or the BH drops my mission. It's sad. 300 DPS FOR THE WIN!

marrow, its good you chimed in on this issue because we both know what this will lead too, making med droids unrepairble. This is another example of a certain proffesion that abuses the powers of others and causes that proffesion to be nerfed. We already saw this happen tomcm's, and this will be another nerf to them. We are seeing way to many one shot incap posts from jedi and the culprits are the same proffesion abusing another masters skills. Two solutions could be in place to avoid this. first, no rezzing the droid at all with anything. Yeah, its drastic but fixes the problem for everyone but the people the change was meant for. second, bh need more combat lines in their templates. The biggest mistake the devs made was to allow a heavy combat proffesions such as bh drop other lines like scout which gave them more points to use up elsewhere. Thats the main reason jedi will never be balanced with jedi and always will be able to out template them...jedi are stuck with 4 lines of choices, bh, at least 24 lines if they wish. How in the world did this get by the developers?
