Thread: Bac...the issue of the dead droids and rezzing droids needs to be fixed NOW
I was DE before I unlocked, and my alt still is.
Droid repair kits can be over 2k. The have four levels, the Repair Kit D is the best one but it requires good named resources so may not be available on every server or in massive quantites. Typically the repair kit has about 15 uses but you have to be close to the droid to use it.
I just want to be able to heal a Droid or my Barc when I heal myself too.
But I wholy agree with the Droid Heals , I never thought Batteries and Droid Healing packs were in the Bacta.

I made a post a few weeks ago asking if healing a droid using Bacta was intended or not. Sadly I got no reply from a Dev.
One thing to note. Droid repair kits cost little action and no mind to use from what I could tell. They also heal for much more than B. Spray (over 2k for a kit and only 1k for spray). From what I could tell they also did not use a combat round (just like stims). They do have a short timer so you can't spam them one after the other (sorry, I did not time it).
So even if Bacta is not used to heal dont expect droid healing to go away. Infact, repair kits may be an even wiser move from a BH perspective due to the lower action/mind cost relative to spray.
I have not finished testing them out yet so I am not sure about the range on the repair kits.
I did some testing and the droid repair kits work great. I didn't get a chance to test the cooldown on the repair kits extensively, but I recall it saying, "you can't use that item for another 11 seconds". I think there is a 15 second cooldown on the droid stims, just a sorta-kinda guess.
Also, for the record, jedi can heal droids with forceinfusion, however, infusion won't tick. You get the initial heal, but no further ticks. So with some good auto-repair modules, forceinfusion, and Droid Repair D Kits (2k heals) you could keep the droid alive and gain some extra damage. I have yet to test this with a BH, since I wasn't hunted last night. (Maybe I can call my droid after stasis too....since lugging around a droid is a pain)
Now I wonder what's the best droid. Since the DE changes it came down to modules. The R3 Adv has the most, but a ranged droid might do better for Jedi in a BH encounter.Maybe that's not the case since you have to be very close to the droid to use a repair kit.

but jedi cannot use the healing abilities of the droid...so healing them or even using them is a mute point.
True as far as the healing bonus, but the damage bonus is what I'm interested in. Being able to heal the droid is very important if your intending to have it continue to damage the BH.
