Thread: The good way to experiment the best saber

Ive read that its better to experiment only 1 point at a time. So it would be , experiment/bespin port/experiment/bespin port/experiment/bespin port until you are full then wait for your stomach to empty and then continue.
Each time you experiment you get a chance at anything from an amazing success to a crit fail. For your method, using the +20 experimentation suit w/ MLS (or a +25 with x/x/x/4), you would need 11 Amazing Successes on your experimentation to get the same results that he gets by using all eleven points and doing it once.
So, if you do use 1 point at a time (and you're stomach will fill before you get to 11, btw), and you do manage to get all Amazings, I'll buy us 2 tickets to Vegas ![]()
Personally, I'd rather try for 1 Amazing rather than 11 in a row

Well in the weaponsmith forums they would disagree with you. I posted a question reguarding this and they all pretty much agreed that only experimenting 1 point at a time is best.

My alt is a WS and I have made my best results by experimenting 6 points at a time. If you get "amazing" with 6 pointsit's like you just got one free exp point

You should of just linked to the Crafting Saber FAQ that was created post CU. It was very useful to me.... especially when it described exactly which stats per resource were important in LS crafting. The "best" may be confused with which as the most 900's, not which has 900's in the right spot.
And definitely experiment 1 pt at a time, and drink port inbetween each one. You all may want to look for new Besin Port too. I do NOT drink +25 (cuz after 8 drinks I'm full), I used +22 port that has a lesser filling so I can drink it for all 12 of my experimentation points.
Also, pay attention to max stats. When you have 96 SAC with 2 boxes left in efficiency, do NOT waste those points there, you can only get 95 SAC, save those 2 points and drop em into dmg.

Sorry I assumed people know how to read their schematics.
This is just a bad idea. A plain loss of time.
This is depending on people. Though I feel personnaly that efficiency is more important (far more).
