Ok Im seeing a lot of "I've played game longer then he or she and deserve elder status" though that person never reached jedi. A few things I would like to point out:

1) The option to go jedi was there for everyone, ever since the profession grind.

2) Just because you did not want to do the grind and youpreferred to "play the game" does not make you a saint and should NOT allow you elder status.

3) We are being rewarded for doing one of the hardest and longest things in the game, call it a Trial By Fire!!! And we emerged with our reward, our reward is jedi, and the next reward is elder status.

4) Jedi was one of the most screwed professions in the game. The older jedi like myself have been stronger then most non jedi but not the 1.5 times stronger in some cases, pearl/crystal drop was ruined, new jedi are as strong as a non master brawler lol and now our limited elite numbers, the mystique to jedi is being removed from game. (remember i said one of, not the only screwed prof)

Now I have also read complaints where people say, well what about the people that "Have life's" and cant sit in front of the PC all day playing. Talk about a lame excuse. I have a full time job, a wife and a little baby boy. I spend FAR more time with them and out of the house working and at the gym and with friendsthen I do on this game. Hmm, sounds like I DO have a life. And I am a full template jedi as well, unlocked my jedi pre cu too. What I REALLY think the problem is is that some people are just LAZY AS HELL and are seeing an opportunity and think if I complain enough maybe not only can I just "respec" to jedi but get elder status too. Now you think that would be fair to you but what you DON'T think about is, how would that be fair to us, the ones that did do the grind?

would like to say im my own opinion that all jed pre cu and before should be the only ones who should get the vet rewards seeing how they actualy had to grind unlike post cu where all these jedi did was get in a group and spin for couple days

Im NOT pushing for a change to what they are planning, this is more to the people who are complaining that cause they played X number of days more then someone that did a jedi grind that when the new CU goes live and they respec to jedi that they have elder status too. Read my original post as to why I think they do NOT deserve that.

I deserve it because i do end of story case dismissed. I would even say that only people that were full template before cu should get leder status but that is just me

and your right people who are going to respec shouldnt get these rewards but i also say the first post cu shouldnt get them either

IV. New Veteran Player Loyalty Rewards

We are offering current active characters several loyalty bonus items in recognition of their status in the game community as valued veterans.

• Elder Buff – Increases to combat abilities, this buff can be shared with new players. ALL PLAYERS

• Elder Title – In recognition of your status in the game as a valued veteran player. ALL PLAYERS

• Profession Re-Allocation Option – All characters active prior to the introduction of the new game enhancements will receive a total of 9 re-allocation options or charges attached to their character to allow the player to test out each of the new professions once before choosing the final path. ALL PLAYERS

• Jedi Bonus Items – Power-enhanced Jedi Robe and Lightsaber color crystal and the opportunity to play as transcended blue glowing Jedi character. JEDI ONLY

• 10 Additional Combat Levels – New combat levels to explore from level 80 – 90.
This last one confuses me.... do all players (even post 15th november newbies) get the extra 10 levels, or is this a thing only for players pre-cu2? seems very unbalancing to me to give old players 10 more levels than anyone joining later on

Some Words that come in mind:

Ryyatt trail, Fight clubbing, sampling radioactive, crafting sabers.

Jedi were really good in finding ways to bypass the grind. Anyway melee will probably suck after nge...no matter if the weapon is glowing or not.

I actually agree with you that post CU should NOT get the reward. When I unlocked and was grinding like everyone else, I ws out there SOLO grinding with NO Group Bonus XP, no Dbl XP no entertainer buffs for a little extra XP and the danger from BH was greater, plus we lost XP if killed by a creature. I was only making a post to cover 1 subject on the non jedi wanting to respec to jedi and get elder status LMAO boy when I say it like that it just sounds even sillier doesnt it???

Now as far as pre CU jedi that reached full template before CU, how would anyone know? its not like something unlocked adn there is a record somewhere saying,"I AM NOW FULL TEMPLATE JEDI!!!!". Good in theory btu wont work so lets just stick with unlock pre CU.

This is not even planned by the DEVs.... you should not get the Jedi rewards until you can learn to read

Sounds like you unlocked pre cu but didnt finish the grind untill post cu?

I almost finished before CU. But you miss the point, there will be a record of when I unlocked jedi, and if frs was still around, there WOULD be a record showing when I went knight. But there is NO record showing when I went full template, so my point is, trying to make only those taht were a full template jedi pre CU would not be possible. Specially because lots of jedi are always changing thier template. So lets say I reached FULL template pre CU but decided I wanted to change to something else. I would most likely have to drop something to fill a different box, BOOM soon as I do that Im not full tempalte anymore. SO with that in mind then no, being full template before CU would not make sense for elder status.
