Exactly... so your post is pointless.
Only Jedi who unlock before 15th will get the Jedi Rewards (completely seperate from anything with the word elder in it). So the DEVs support your view that respecing should not get the Jedi Rewards.

GOOD, IM TIRED OF YOU NOT PAYING ATTENTION
1) Non jedi will get elder status: YES
2) Non jedi will get elder buffs: YES
3) Non existing jedi that respec to jedi (elder or not) will get jedi bonus items, robes, blue glow, new lightsaber: NO!!!!!!

4) Jedi was one of the most screwed professions in the game. The older jedi like myself have been stronger then most non jedi but not the 1.5 times stronger in some cases, pearl/crystal drop was ruined, new jedi are as strong as a non master brawler lol and now our limited elite numbers, the mystique to jedi is being removed from game. (remember i said one of, not the only screwed prof)
Now I have also read complaints where people say, well what about the people that "Have life's" and cant sit in front of the PC all day playing. Talk about a lame excuse. I have a full time job, a wife and a little baby boy. I spend FAR more time with them and out of the house working and at the gym and with friendsthen I do on this game. Hmm, sounds like I DO have a life. And I am a full template jedi as well, unlocked my jedi pre cu too. What I REALLY think the problem is is that some people are just LAZY AS HELL and are seeing an opportunity and think if I complain enough maybe not only can I just "respec" to jedi but get elder status too. Now you think that would be fair to you but what you DON'T think about is, how would that be fair to us, the ones that did do the grind?
I am a pre 9 jedi and I say that it doesnt matter .everyone here worked for jedi and deserves somthing for that work.We all should be on the same side not split over stupid issues like this.I am more concerned in what specials we have and how they will work and since we all will cookie cutter Jedi.
They think that because the game is changing and not for the better.The 12 year olds and whiners have won .The people who have stuck it out here have lost and been offered up as a sacrifice.There will always be people who want what others have and will cry the hardest to get it.My point is this its a game have fun with it and worry less about what the other guy gets.
I have played since launch and have enjoyed the game until now.
Pre CU.. Post CU.....
Who deserves it? Anyone who's put up with paying for a game that's in constant change.
You "Elder Jedi" need to get over it already. It's making you look really bad.
It's starting to sound like you not only wantcool thingsbut you want them all to your self.
