Several people have already hacked the game client software and discovered the secrets to FS slots. With modern memory and hex editing, with dissassembling, you can discover the text and in-game components to becoming a Jedi.

ok so what are the results of this supposed hacking?

I'm fairly certain all this stuff happens server-side, where they'd be pretty **edit** secure.

And if your hacking, why not turn on your FS slot while your there? And maybe 5 or 6 others so they can't tell who did it.

Jedi FS slot messages are client-side.

I cant hack server data, so I cant 'activate' my FS character.

If you knew how to become Force Sensative, would you tell everyone?

And there's the hand-tip.

The messages will NOT tell you what you did to get FS unlocked, it'll just say you unlocked it. This is because the devs don't WANT you knowing how you did it.

Therefore you couldn't have checked the message it gives you because that message would only read smoething like "Yo've unlocked the force sensitive slot, congratulations", no specifics on how you did it would be given.

After hacking the client data, I would conclude that Jedis are not yet in the game yet. Either that, or force sensativity is still not coded.

Nah, what's funniest is that decompiling or reverse engineering the software is against the EULA agreed to when installing the game, making this sort of action illegal.

I'd just like to point out that if you did hack their system, you have just violated the TOS that you agree to every time you run the client, as well as violating the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (if in the US). By posting that you've hacked the client (on their own forums even) you are now subject to a possible lawsuit from SOE/LucasArts. You are also a possible subject of a search and seizure of all your computer equipment, as well as a halt on your account without refund. You have admitted your own guilt and this thread can be used against you in court. Please think carefully before you act. If you are lying about this, say it now to cover yourself. If you want to be a "screw the system" type of guy, don't be too shocked if the police knock on your door.
