I gotta ask you how your grinding right now in this system.. or if you did after the CU that it took you 4 months.. because the average guy I know with paddy is doing it in a month give or take at a 3 hour a night pace.
And also I will add you can thank all the cries from half the people that are Jedi now , alot of them cried for these nerfs before they went for Jedi..lol go figure.
Sad though, you would have liked Jedi pre patch 9 or so.. after 9 things changed but it still was not so bad...
and im with my bro on this one(Beyaco)... i think im done... im tired of SOE killing the only profession in this game that kept me around....
all these people who think they cant be beaten by a bh... and never lost have never ever then fought anybody then with 8.1k energy recon armor which WE SELL... sliced for armor break...
eaten with food that gives them 200 action regen... 235 mind regen... 185 health regen... along with booster blue... vegasparine.. thundercloud.. pikatta pie... and stimpacks with the the drink that lowers timer....
have a rifleman/bh along with the healing line in cm or doc( i would say cm) you get paralze...
no way a jedi can beat... heal only lowers the mind... jedi will run out of force... with 235 regen on mind... bh doesnt worry too much with mind...
jedi suck.. SOE screwed them over listening to Every dik tom and harry bh crying....
now bh's want to stop jedi from running in bases so jedi have NO WHERE TO RUN... why dont SOE just say.. hey if a bh comes for you... you lose xp automatically....
soon bh's will cry jedi into worse non existence as they are now...
im so fed up with the SOE...
I unlocked after patch 9 and i have to say that I loved every bit of it until the CU hit. i had no problem with legendary weapons... so what if i died it was still more fun that this crap. I absolutly loved pvp, and being able to pve high end content solo.... dont get me wrong i like doing stuff with my guildies but to sit there everyday and try and find a group to go do something is just getting old.

Well I guess it raises a question, did you just grind Jedi to play PvP ? since that's what you are suggesting.
However on the Question of 'Was it worth it?' - I've been struggling to find things to do, since PvPing outside Theed is not my style. And i think i'm going to be taking a break to finish leveling my WoW char so that when that gets to lvl 60 i will come back and see what's changed.
There is nothing dropping loot worth having atm, and almost anything that does drop will end up getting you inconvenianced by a bh, who in all honesty i find boring as hell since i've got better things to do than muck around fighting a fight i didn't want for 30mins. I don't take any enjoyment from being content, it's boring as they are almost all the same BH/CM can't outdmg them, they can't outdmg you - Force pool regens fast enough to not be an issue if you are careful = stalemate
guys...if your unhappy...don't waste your breath here....go to gaming sites....post reviews of star wars galaxies....be honest, don't flame unnecessarily...give the truth to people who are considering picking the game up...within a few months of launch it was "impossible to get Jedi"...then what prompted me to join was "you can be a Jedi, but I would advise against picking the game up if that's your goal and youexpect it will be easy. It's a ton of work, and far out of reach of the average person, but the reward is oh so sweet"
so, well over a year later...I'm full template, have a saber full of pre-cu pearls, a pvp rating of over 1750, and an undefeated record vs BH's
in the meantime....So is everyone else, and for the most part, they have to buy an expansion to get em, they are whipping boys, and get spanked on a regular basis
the problem with this game isn't that there are too many Jedi...it's that they have rushed the initial release,every update, every patch, every expansion, there is too little content, non-existant quality assurance, poor customer service, horrible community relations, and broken mechanics left and right....resulting in too few players in general....I mean...come on....Star Wars Online....and only 250,000 subscribers?
reality is there is more potential in this game than in any 10 other mmorpg's based strictly off the license...but then SOE got their hands in and fouled up the execution.
lol just like normal... you got jedi arguing with jedi.. reason why we are so screwed to begin with... you got the ones who think they are uber and never lose to anybody... even though the people they face probably werent that good...
then you got the self rightous ones that turn their face to what the real problem is with our profession...
argue that with the ones that want our profession to be better... you get a fight without a cause...
well this will be the downfall of most of our fun as we get nerfed because we cant stand together....
good bye good riddence... this game has gone down hill...
