lol you are so right... jedi fight so much within their own profession its hilarious... they are so stuck on ego and pride that they would rather stick to those principles then try to fight together to improve their profession...

Jedi was worth it pre-9, and even pre-cu for awhile. Now with all of the exploiting, afk grinding, and respec'ing that has gone on the profession is not worth it at all. (Sorry if that sounded like a slam to the post-cu jedi, but I was also talking about people who were exploiting pre-cu) I can honestly say on a pikeman/doc toon I will have more fun playing. You look back at hologrinding, and how long it took some people to just unlock, and you compare it to double xp and respec. Now I realize I have more fun playing on a toon that is not hated by every non-jedi and does not deal with BH's. It's rather sad, but it's how I now view playing a jedi character.

It was worth it up to the CU. But a waste of time thereafter. I didn't buy two other accounts because i wanted a different game mechanic system like the CU. You have 250k subscribers before the CU and 250k after the CU but it was the wookie expansion which woulda brought new folk regaurdless which system was in play. Verterans were lost is all, wit new folk who may not stay long.

How can you say you've lived life if you've never danced?
Well I do remember Han having a one piece suit made out of carbonite but it weighed a ton. Still it didnt require any ironing and was very wear resistant.
Thanks SOE! The CU and NGE gave me my life back. Thanks! Bitterness is the taste of love lost, a tear of acid that burns the heart.

As a dreamer I sing to the sea and imagine the possibilities and potential this game could free, but when I get home a sad sight there be. A lost fool, for once was is gone, what could've been to never be, and the angel of my heart to be forgotten, locked away by the key of SOE.

My fustration lies in the fight. I am just a lowly padawan and I have been killed 4 times now. Each fight (not a good word) was the same: while fighting a lair I get KD, either I get killed right away or I stand up to be immediatly incap again.

What really sucks for me is that I only want to do PVE stuff. At the level I am at there is very little that I can do, and even less that will not give me visibility. Between the 4 deaths I lost probably 550k xp which is not a big deal in itself. The problem comes that trying to gain that back will most likely result in at least 1 more death again loosing 180k xp or so.

Needless to say if I can run from a BH I will because I do not stand a chance. Its hard to enjoy the game at this level too. Going out hunting right now sucks. While hunting I am always so busy trying to look for dots on the map coming close and being under so much stress trying to watch for BH's coming that I dont get to converse alot with the hunting party and such.

In all the movies it seems to me that jedi have the ability to sense danger. It sure would be nice to be able to tell when an attack is coming or something. It would also be nice to only fight same level BH's. This would prevent me from running and staying to fight.

As is stands now with the respec options I have only ever seen level 80 BH attacking jedi. Those BH now they have a mission so are all pumped up on food, buffs, and what ever else. If I jedi could get a message saying you are eing hunted by a BH who just arrived on planet would help get prepared. This would allow time to prepare.

Anyway am I not saying anything that has not been said before, but I sure wish I could start doing fun things with my jedi like Kash or the Obi Wan expansion when it comes up, but I doubt I'll be strong enough at that point either so I will miss the first wave of that, and be stuck begging people to come help me with missions that nobody wants to do anymore.

In the mean time I'll grind away, expecting to loose at least 1/3 of the xp I gain.

Only Asota and Kasota survived the NGE, and just barely! But YaSota was born into the fury!

Bottom Line is you can't do anything but grind until you are a full temp, or atleast close to it.

I find your lack of pants disturbing.

Don't try to explain it to him, he will never understand that pre-cu jedi grinded over 8 hours jedi for novice LS. And that pre-9 had that 10x harder...

Lots of nunas died that day my friend to get me that novice LS box. Or should I say week. Took me a while. Nunas and spiders, but then preCU it was worth it.

I did unlock jedi pre cu, and did grind all my novice boxes but I was unable to play for several months so I do know something the pre-cu grind. Heading to endor, trying to find low level crap that does not agro, and watching out for drive bys. I even missed the double xp days.

I have a very hard time convincing myself to play my jedi anymore because at the rate I am grinding I will never make positive xp, therefore I will never progress, therefore I will never be able to do things other than grind.

Almost every day I think of just dropping all jedi skills and grinding out in a couple days a different profession, but I just can't make myself do that either. I keep hoping for great things to happen.
