Thread: What do you think, new FRS = robes with sockets??

Before the CU there were no specific Jedi CA's... Sure there were good CA's for jedi but not specific jedi CA's like Double-bladed Lightsaber accuracy etc.
Now that these SEA's do excist so it seems only logical to me that the robes will get sockets to put the Jedi CA's in....
does that make sense or am i just nuts???

i wish that was true bud. but wat i wanna see, is the robes still be put on as a set, but have it so each piece can have sockets. so if u double click any part of the robes, tehy all equip, but make it so i can put some jedi tapes in each piece of the same type (+5 in boots, +4 in leggings of 1handed LS speed for example)

i have finished my saber suit and would love it if i could but the attachments i have on it into my dark jedi robes........or even just wear the robes i earned....grrrrr. I kept my knight title why can't i equip the robes. the only difference is color.

well you can also jsut have like 20 sockets in a robe or something like that.... the equal of seperate sockets on boots, pants, shirt etc....
but what im wondering is am i the only one who thinks robes should have sockets nowthat there are specific jedi CA's or am i just reaching....

my question would be, what if you wanted to change something if you had more then on jedi. would you be able to take the attachments out.

yes, however, following CA rules, u can only ahve 1 of each type, 1 1handed LS speed tape, 1 1handed LS accuracy, 1 2handed speed tape, etc. so u have to get a high end tape for your robes.

I want a new system with lightsaber crafting on par to the strucuter found in "KotOR2" !!
This would be a main reason for me to continue playing and it's a much needed build for the current state of this game.
As for robes, I would like to believe the developers are capable of indentifying a working method to implement modable jedi clothes. Again...like KotOR2.
The problem is each string of new code adds 4 bugs to pre-existing code. Is the trade off worth it?

i sense more of a pain if i get sockets in my robes, which have condition now, and i get uber tabes, and in order to preserve it I'll need to adk it. that and if there are different types of robes we can wear I'd hate to restict myself to just one because i hve CAs in it. I rather just stick to the 4 socket HAT and gloves. maybe that could give us the otion to wear shirst under the robes for mor CA stuff, that would be idea i think

The 5 new robes consist of 1 padawan, and 2 each for the Light and Dark. I am assuming that those two light and dark will represent some form of rank structure, but I am unaware of mods if any that they will have.
My hope is that the new robes have some mods in them like the old ones did, but that they can also be worn over our clothes. If they had slots you would lose your SEA each time you moved in the ranks and got a new robe, and if the robe replaces your clothes lots of people will be faced with the decision of losing the money they spent on their SEA or wearing the new robes.

of course they will because now you cant freely get ca's off any low level creatures or loots. Its all high level npc's that by the way give you visibility. SOE again doesnt think far enough ahead in their nerf swinging to actually come up with solutions before they start making changes that affect people down the road..... a jedi back pack would be nice with socket though.
