Isee there is ajedi problem and i think we can all agree on that, but the worst thing to do is kick them off or make one server with no jedi on it, thats just stupid, how can you take away the most important part of the starwars story, the force. thats just damn dumb. the problem with jedi, as i have said before is that they are aimless. the devs have built a system where you become a jedi without learning the force, but by fighting and gaining xp. this is a horrible idea. you should have to grind and learn the nature of the force at the same time in order to become a jedi. it makes you more aware of your profession.
the jedis in this game only know the force from prior games, because this game doesnt teach you about the force at all. think about all the jedis you see and wonder how many of them actually know the jedi code. think about all the dark jedi you know and how many of them actually know the sith code. i bet that is a very low number. lol.
and now you have become a jedi.... now what....................... anybody............................. anybody............................... exactly. there isnt a damn thing to do that deals with your profession. and if any of you say "thats why we have the FRS" you should be smacked in the face with a lightsaber. the FRS is only a ranking system to get from one level to the next. thats it. im talking about the job of a jedi. there job at this time is more to bring balance to the force, and defeat the sith, and also to restore order to the galaxy. someone tell me one mission or quest personalized for the jedi to do this? or as dark jedi? restoring the sith order, taking over the galaxy if your not an imperial. what missions or quests let you do this? ....... anybody.......... noone huh?? thats right cause there isnt.
the jedi profession is the only profession that doesnt have a purpose to there job. thats why you dont have anyone doing what there supposed to do. you guys are talking about jedi, but there are no jedi, just a bunch of sooped up players with lightsabers. the jedi profession must have content, better teaching of the proffession with regards to the force. and they must have a job to do after they have made it to the rank jedi or dark jedi. without this. the force will stay F'ed up.

Crap guys, this is just a game you are not a Jedi, come back to reality and get some sunshine. There is no Jedi code, there is no star wars universe.
It is a game and you play a game to enjoy it. Please leave if it makes you miserable to play a game the way it is.

Lol tell that to Best Buy, they're the ones who provided these people with realistic Lightsabers. Now all roleplayers like the OP are beginning to lose the line between fantasy and reality. I wonder if he really has the /FORCE... Maybe he speaks in Klingon too...
Hey OP! Rewrite the whole thing in Klingon I dare you!

I completely agree with the original poster.
You know it's the truthdue to all the full templated padawan players who are playing their alts instead of their jedi characters. I ask guild members sometimes why they aren't playing their jedi and they just say, "Because there's nothing to do."
And the FRS is a joke. I honestly couldn't care less for it. So, after killing countless mobs of creatures, we just kill each other to get higher ranks. Then you get the highest rank and....What? Does this really sound fun to any of you? Is this what jedi was supposed to be? I don't care that there are alot of jedi. What I care about is that there is no story or system in place to make itseem like STAR WARS.Where are the epic adventures and stroylines?
There has to be some kind of purpose to this profession.

Post bashing aside, I agree 100%. I just came back from a 1 year break from SWG and found many MANY changes have taken place since. Some good, some arguably bad... overall its probably more a matter of me getting used to it. Just the other day I finally became FS, had a visit from the old man a few days later and finally had the sith attack me. I finally ran to the village as quickly as I could excited about going for this new jedi class (which was almost tottaly unobtainable at the time I left)
My first honest opinion was.. "what on earth do I do now!?" I talked with the village elder, some guy sent me to go help out the camp by getting supplies.. I got a message saying I can only accept one force sensitive quest at a time... but thats about it!Ok ... Great. now what?
This brings me to exactly this moment now (Me writing this post!). I had to go onto the boards to find out what I should do, is there more to this camp? Should I be talking to other people first? Why am I here?
There is almost nostoryline here, no education on the force as mentioned by the poster(Maybe its down the road a bit more? From what Ive seen it doesnt look like it
). There was no sense or purpose or adventure, hollow comes to mind. From the post I've read and people i've ask... my first replies were "Oh your at the village? Time to grind jedi!"
This sort of came as a shocker to me, partly because Ive been out of SWG for so long I guess I had much higher expectations.
Becoming a Jedi should involve hard work, DEFINATLY.
At the same time, becoming a Jedi should ABSOLUTLY follow some storyline, or education on the force. The game should immerse you in this. Perhaps missions to better understand what the deal is with a jedi, the force powers your learning... etc etc.
Becoming a Jedi should not require one becoming FS to go online to a SWG forumn just to find out what to do! The game should do this...
Sure my points are all opinions, which I'm sure we all have ... but you have to look at this as a game... games should be fun and challenging. Not just a grind process
