I agree with the op to an extent.. it would be nice to give our profession a purpose besides being the bulls-eye on the never ending nerf bat. But come one it is a game... make your own purpose.

Someone came in here.....and deleted an ASCII moose........wow. Are you employed by SOE to do that? If so, please stop trying to "moderate" the forums. The Dev team needs all the help they can get, please go help them. At the very least you could be correcting all the spelling mistakes in NPC dialogue during lame Kash missions.

i have to agree with jardan it is a good idea to give the jedi a purpose and also give the jedi Council a purpose instead of just having a master jedi as a hollow title. maybe make a mission for them random mission depending on their skill to either aid the light or dark or maybe Grey side of the force? and the more u accomplish the more point u get to being a higher ranked jedi for FRS??? and with in the mission you have to abide by the jedi code light/dark. pretty good idea me thinks?

I play this cos its fun, and i got a bunch of mates on here. I dont play it for some woopdi-doo fantasy and roleplay walking between one starport to another, cos that aint fun for me

if they install these purpose and mission within the game it also aide role playing.. i have to say on some server RP is down to a bear minium and iam a on/off rp with my jedi.. with these mission it would give alot of jedi focus and a better parthways, isn't it true that becoming and being a jedi in the Star War unervise about the parthway and experiance? and role playing cancomes into this alot.I mean atthe moment what is there to do after using up all your 250 skill points and then get 4mill jedi xp for a buffer.. then what? and that is solely why when u ask your jedi friend why do you not play on your jedi? and they say becase they've jack all to do but kill a few monster. If there was a purpose there won't be so many jedi doing nothing...

that is fine Doddy, if you relise u don't have to rp at all but that shouldn't mean that nobody else shouldn't be allow to have the choice to rp or do somethink a bit more constructive, i beleive the people on here isn't really trying to tell you as a an individual to do this and not this etc etc, but for the acutaly people who would like more depbt in their game play, i use to play on a game called Ultima Online, there was really 2 major faction, Rp and Non rp you can swap between the 2 if you liked and no one would say a word, but if you do go into rp you are expect to abide by their rules so you do have a choice. in my very honest opinion i think rp can bring community together. also remember when u are rp u can rp as good bad or nuetral just like the rebel, imp, nuetral faction on SWG.. tbh you more or less have the base structure set up just people taking initative.

Just a little knowledge on the force.....


Dark Jedi's don't equal Sith.....Dark Jedi's have been seduced by the dark side and have fallen from grace. This is a far step from the teachings of the Sith which stem from the Massassi/Dark Jedi of 4k years ago. Dark Jedi use the force for selfish reasons but are still only jedi. When one is indoctrined into the Sith Lords, additional knowledge is bestowed.....SO, to say you are a sith is a bit "force ignorant" since Darth Bane created the one Master one apprentice rule to stop the internal squabbling that destroyed the sith during the Sith Wars...I believe I still see Darth Vader and Darth Sidious at the emporers retreat.....Looks like you are out of luck.....Just my two cents.....


Now I will say that I do agree with you that there needs to be jedi content missions. I believe there is a clicky regarding a new FS system and jedi content system out there......NOW THOSE ARE TREMENDOUS IDEAS!!!.....GO GIZMO!!!
