so with the pearls problem im going master powers but i also wanted a ninja template since im into that style of pvp and here it goes, some feed back please. master lightsaber first, then craft maybe 3 of each saber for later incase i wanna change up or just to archive in my city hall. then drop to 0400ls /mpowers/ 4004enh/ 0040def/ 4000healer, what you all think will this be considered a ninja template for a ninja like me.

ls 34xx mpowers enh 44x2 healer 4xxx is better

A ninja does not need a thick armor, as he rarely get's hit.

A ninja only needs one weapon, for every strike is deadly.

So forget about ls or def. Go for the template I have used for a long time now, that I love. Mpowers/Menh/4040 healer.

It doesn't get more ninja than that.....well unless there were actually ninjas. But that would be dumb in Star Wars.

Might I suggest that you forget Def 0040and use the points to get Improved Force Armour and LS 0401.

Although, this is less "ninja", at lease FA will give you some damage reduction in those situations where you find yourself taking a beating - and as an MP + MLS Jedi myself, I can tell you that will be quite often against other Jedior in PvE, but BH's are your whoopin' boyz.

Ok Heres the super secret, ninja master powers template made to kill Bhs...

Master dancer, master droid engineer...j/k

Master powers. defender 0440, healer 4000, enh 3402 If its been stated alread that shows you how good it is. (and that I didnt make it through the whole post)

well for the most part i want to still wield a saber, since ninjas have swords, but not a crappy training saber, also not really interested in killing bounty hunters, im gonna just run cloak and avoid cause ill be playing my alt mostly. but i want something that is fun to play that i can solo some content with and something that looks cool since im the mayor and guild leader of my ninjas so is my template idea feasable, i know that 3402 enh is good for pvp but again the x4xxenh is a massive drain on force and i think that with just xx4xdef should keep me alive in pve.

Ok guys..here's a little secret to fighting as a Powers wielder. Since everyone seems so bent on defender. If you even consider making yourself tough to kill as a powers jedi, you are already dead. Wielding powers means basically throwing raw force bar at someone. You have no real staying time like other templates. The idea is to kill quickly, on your own terms, and make yourself unavailable for being hit as much as possible. Powers will help you with the first, Enhancer with the second and third. Trust me...I used to be powers/defender right after CU....I'd dropped MLS and all the rest to try out a powers/defender type template. It didn't work. I could stay in a fight for a long time, but I was so limited in my attack ability due to force costs that I had a tough time winning. When I finally wizened up and dropped defender, and picked up Enhancer...things changed for the better. I learned to use the bag o' tricks that Enhancer gives me to CONTROL a fight, not just win with brute strength and a thick skin...win with cunning.

Isn't that more ninja-like?

Oh...and saber hit is a main part of my fighting routine. You do not even need novice ls for it. I get dmg from 2-500 with it depending on who and what I am hitting. It fit's in nicely between most of my powers attacks so that my dmg output overlaps.

As far as spending all that time to get master saber for a few more experimentation points I think you're crazy. However, perhaps after you get it you won't wanna drop it all which in my opinion would be a good thing for you.

Your crafted saber stats may vary 50 points but I have nothing to back that up. You could easily find out by having a mls craft a saber with the same resources and that'd let you know if grinding 9 million extra xp is worth the extra damage when your main offense will be powers.

If I really wanted a little extra points in my saber and I was deadset on a template like you suggested I might go 0404 and drop the 0004 in sabers later but that's about it.

As far as the ninja part goes I'd recommend

Master Powers

LS 0400

Healer 4100

Enh 4002

Def 0040

as ive seen from most is that the sac on a saber is very important seeing as how it will never be as good as a pup'd melee or ranged weapon or a capped pistol that are crafted with 65 sac, so imo to have the best saber in the game and forever i will need master ls, one of my friends is mls and his sac is still imo horrible at a 90, but currently in my grind after only grinding for like 20 hours im only xx2xls and 3xxxhealer with 1mil saved for the 4xxx healer block and my sac on a gen 4 for grinding and helping the group is at 126 and the fc is 22 damage is disgusting at 304-411 and 147 elec from banes, now that sac sucks and the speed isnt that great either, now i dont know what the xxx4 ls line will do for me but also i might keep and change my mind later but only if i get some great pearls in the mean time, i mean i wanted to do the whole lightsaber jedi before but because of the damage output mpowers seems better atm, one of the guys in my guild has 4xxx powers and out damages the mls guys in my grinding groups by 200+ damage mostly cause their all post cu jedi as well so the way i look at it mpowers does more damage, has the ninja style to it but noone like me who loves melee can go without some sort of decent melee skill, and the x4xx ls has what the swordman i love have armor break and powerattack so i think im covering all ends, if someone could clear up the difference, HARD evidence that says i can still have a decent saber with crafting only with xxx4ls then that will save me alot of time to reach my goal but until someone that has crafted 10+ sabers at xxx4ls and 10+ at mls can tell me the difference ima just stick my plan. thanks for the input, keep it going if anyone else has some more advice.

The above is a nice temp but might I suggest

LS 0404/ Healer 4000 / Enhancer 3402 / MPowers

The reasoning is better saber, Aura is currently BORKED and seeing that the devs have no desire to communicate. Well you get the picture there. You gain the whole 4th line in LS for the additional attacks/bonuses. Just my .02 cents.
