Well, keep in mind he does it out of his own time. It's a volunteer job. Keep in mind also he's only a voice, he doesn't decide what goes in or out. He can only do so much, which is nearly the same as much as we can. He also has work, a life, and probably a family.

Then He should not be a correspondent, I don't mean to be rude but the Title of Correspondent is not something to be toyed with if you know full well you cannot invest an hour a day into something like this then you do not belong here.

The old correspondent provided a spoiler for most of the content with the expansion. I fail to see how that is a good thing.

Your idea of what a correspondent should be doing is signifigantly different that alot of others here (including myself).

My first post here, being doing alot of reading here and will keep my comments for another post. All i can say is how true. I am not jedi yet but still want to not to be uber or for content but because it is something i feel suits me and my play style. I would like to see more posts from correspondent both in answer to questions and in helping to easy other players feeling and actually make them feel they are being heard and not ignored.

My thoughts on this:

Bac' isn't responsible for letting the community tear itself apart, although perhaps he could be doing more to calm folks down. The root of the problem is the lack of information from the Devs. If the Devs don't provide any information, Bac' has nothing to pass along to us. Plain and simple.

If he DID get anything from them, I'm sure he'd be all over it and would have it posted and stickied on our forum within minutes.

Fixing the Pearl drop/tune issue would go a long way in calming folks down. There's be less of a division between pre/post CU unlocks, and there'd be less complaining about BHs (although that will never go away totally). Tiggs posted recently that a fix was being coded, but declined to provide an ETA on when it'll be completed.

Because there's a vacum of information from the Devs, the players are filling it.... with rumor, speculation and hate. I'm not sure Bac' could "fix" that, aside from posting in the rumor threads and telling the kiddies to shut the Hell up.

well, what is a correspondent? A correspondent is supposed to communicate SOMETHING, and darthfuse's point is that he doesnt communicate anything. he ignores. but if that makes a good correspondent to you, then so be it......
