Currently, Premium Pearls do not drop. We will bring them back into the game once we figure out a favorable implementation of these special items; there is not specific ETA for this change and all players that have the old Premium Pearls will get to keep them in the interim.

The meaning of that phrase is that they are not making changes to the current state of players having premium pearls. It doesn't imply they are making a change later. It simply states that they are NOT going to nerf the premiums in the game now to balance things.
And I was happy happy to hear that Tiggs is doing ok and will be back at work soon. Being a compassionate human being doesn't make you a kiss ass.

interim is a fancy public relations word for meanwhile.
let's substitute interim with meanwhile.
They also stated that they wanted premiums/flawless to be rare.
i have 4 in my saber and i have other just laying around houses.
raremeans seldom occurring or found.
well it's true that they are beyond rare becausecurrentlythey don't drop right now, buthow can they be rare and still be found in alot of the sabers of jedi.
I guess only when new premiums and flawless are announced, we will know for certain of what they meant by this.
i wasnt trying to scream fire on this. just wondering if people saw something that i thought i did.. interm to me means it will eventually get changed.. and the way things are going, that means nerf bat..
as far as tiggs.. well i dont deal well with people who sole job is to blow smoke up my a$$ and she has done that none stop.. so i really dont care if she is sick or not.
but i see everyone still views the cup as half full, while over the 2 + years i have played this game i have changed my view to be the glass is half empty

I'm getting the same thing out of that statement as you are.
It could be a good thing or it could turn out to be a bad thing though.
We won't know untill premiums go live again.
