Is it an exploit if cloaked jedi are resetting base timers after they have been set to countdown? If not how can pvp bases possibly be blown when reb jedi just need to run in after the base is counting down and reset it while cloaked. We have had this used on us by BDP jedi over and over and is leading to a serious imbalance in the gcw metagame. If we cannot buy tickets cloaked, then why can people reset the base countdown? This seems a rather serious abuse IMO. I am, and have been jedi a very long time, and as such am loathe to ask for any further "adjusting" to what is left of our profession, however, this is one of those items I cannot ignore asking for as it is unbalancing a much larger aspect of the game.

Exploit? No.

Abuse? Yes. And an abuse that will get the nerf-bat swinging again.

It seems to me this would be considered an exploit. An exploit in regards to taking advantage of the developers failed implementation of this issue.

If you cannot purchase a ticket cloaked, and you cannot talk to NPCs while riding a mount. Then you should not be able to access any terminal or the such cloaked.

It needs to be addressed for the GCW concerns.

Of course something majorly overlooked by Devs.

Just because I'm invisible doesn't mean Idon't exist. IOW: Just because you can't see me that doesn't negate my physicality, which means I can still push buttons, get into my ship, fly my ship, get off my ship, and anything else I would typically be able to do.

But I don't dispute your point, as it relates to the GCW,at all. Considering the overall effect this can have on the GCW, I'd be willing to trade off not being able to manipulate controls in a base while cloaked, if they let me buy tickets and shuttle while cloaked. Seems like a fair trade to me.

In the same logistics, you should not be able to stop a countdown being invisible, if you cannot start one as that. Bottom line, if in GCW which is always war, and you are able to change something this important without the risk of being attacked, then you are exploiting an imbalance in the game.

I have actually done this to save a SF base. It was successful, but I'm not sure it was an exploit. If you're allowed to interact with certain things while cloaked then ok, but my force bar was drainin' fast because of all the NPCs, so I wouldn't have been able to do it for long.

I totally agree.

They need to change base terminals to not being able to be used while cloaked.

Didn't I already agree with you?

It's easy enough, as the group attacking the base, to prevent this. Once you have the timer started, stand by the HQ terminal. Have people duel each other and use area attacks, the cloaker will not live long enough due to the fact that they still take damage from area attacks.

People who are there blowing the base have no way of stopping you, unless they use areattacks on each other or the npc's and then that is considered by many cloakers an exploit just some food for thought.

Isn't that using one exploit against another exploit? haha
