So I hear this little whisper that the FRS is still in effect somehow in space. Im not sure at what capacity, but it is somewhat. Well, for those that were around, rank got you slightly better tunes. So I harrassed the local nightsister population until they handed over a crystal. Meh, only a good. Jumped up into my Luxury Yacht and tuned that puppy. 77/77 -7, out of a good? My luck is awful tuning now. That's the best tune i've gotten since the CURB, and I wasn't even ranked very high.
It's only 1 tune though, but that 1 tune + the rumor I heard = pretty darn convincing.

1 tune? thats no where near enough info to say this. Also i've known people to tune goods to 90/90/-4
also, what was the speed? maybe you got 2 good(compared to ur current saber) rolls on damage/FC and a bad one on speed.
im so glad my saber has 105+ pearls

Interesting, but 1 tune proves nothing. Get at it and get more data!

Like I said, I know it's just one tune. But what are the chances of after hearing this rumor, hearing other people getting great tunes in space, that I go up and tune 1 crystal and its fairly decent for a good?

ive gotten about 20 tunes over 100 dam since the CU
some from fairs, some from goods
actually, my fairs tuned better than the 10 premiums i have tuned (pearls)
my best tune is a 109 dam, -9 FC, -.27 speed (from a fair crystal)

I bought one good pearl after tuning my 3 qualities after the CU. Qualities were all over 5 fc, all over 95 damage. (Two over 100) and the good wich i just tuned in the middle of Bestine tuned 114 114 -7!

i've been hearing this more often than not, fair crystals that are vastly out-tuning even premium pearls.... strange isn't it?

yea fairs are the new flawless... they tune either for crap or have an amazing tune.... i've not seen a grey area on any of my fair tunes

Its all about luck. My buddy who just unlocked tuned about 20 crystals, good and fairs, got 30 90+ damage crystals and one 100+ damage crystals.

i dunno... i tuned about 15 clear crystals ranging from fair to good and the highest tune i got was 73 -3.... and every other tunes was so bad it's not even worth saying 
and i tuned 3 good pearls and got a 91 -5 along with a 50 and a 30 :\ so i dunno.... its all just random as far as i can tell
