the argument that if we afk grind we have no skill is stupid. Is it not possible to learn how to use your jedi after you get full templated by going sf and learn by trial and error? How does spining piket lairs teach you how to use your jedi, sure the first 20 or so lairs will teach you something after that its just boreing!!!!

Get a clue.

/totallyagree All the people anti-AFK grinding are full temped max damage saber'd Fight Clubbed Jedi Masters pre-CU

This sounds almost as bad a saber envy, CMN.

LOL Jedi Master. Your probly a fight clubba too. Thats even worse than you guys are potraying AFK grinding

why, did it give me anything after the Cu hit, NOPE. you are such a total noob. They let us fight clib to use the old system, because it was going away. If you cant see that then you need to open your eyes. The expierenced gained means nothing and it never did. Get over your honorable self. It is just a game.

I'm not a pre-CU Jedi, in fact I only unlocked on thursday, but I will never afk grind my Jedi. Yeah I used to afk grind for FS exp but never on the trails. A friend had a macro for piket lairs and he used to take us around while we were sleeping lol Anyway. If we are not supposed to AFK grind then do away with macros, and all of you who say learn to use your template and blah blah blah why don't you try to fight without macros? Yeah, that means you'll actually have to press a button to turn aura on every 45 secs, or infusion. Macros are a part of the game. People have figured out how to use them. Unfortunately you HAVE to be high lvl to do anything fun in the game now and people don't have the time to be atk and grind out a full template. I say if you want to AFK grind do it, if not then don't. All the commands have been incorporated into the game so take advantage of it's usefullness.

I'm a pre-pub 9 Jedi and I really gives a fudge whether or not some newb PAddie AFK grinds his template on the Trails. Why you ask? Cuz I'm more than likely never going to cross his path on a regular basis, so his method of game play will not affect mine at all..... Grow up and quit whining about how other people play.

I am impressed! How could you see that they are post CU Jedi in that picture?

I must say this thread was almost as entertaining as the screen shot. People saying its abuse of the CSR lol... now that one was the best-- ABUSE of the CSR! --lol My gosh thank goodness nobody else is abusing anything in that SS..lol.. I mean what would we do?

The best part about this is that it more or less shows some of the intent and (allowments) if you will... for people afk like that. Bottom line, we or (MOST) have the common sense to know what is good gameplay and what is not... let's face it as much as most here that defend AFK grinding-- know Damn well how lame it is and are going to try to get away with it if they can. Jedi was meant to be hunted -- Kash is a safe haven , with the loss of 200k per death xp loss and BHs not being able to hunt anyone there (with droids as intended).. it pretty much makes it a easy way out of any risk at all.

Why do you think they changed the Ham back? For health reasons? Why do you think the CSR dropped the NPCs on them? For more health reasons? -- No common sense wins this battle... if you use it or not, it was victorious.

Now then while I also cheer for Jedi and making it better and have longer then most have been Jedi in this forum I also think it's time to try to save the class. Make it a starting prof, make it quest based -- make the village take more time and add some more content and gate the class as much as they can. Control it, you can't afk most quests... that alone is a fix in it's own right.

Now for the people that have moaned and said, worry about your this and that-- I say -- I did that and now look what happend. --- Dev's can't be blamed for everything... they just can't. People abusing the system can. As far as Jedi goes we are at the stage that "It is what you make of it" -- this is sad of course but very very true. If there is blame to be had it's a mixture... for Devs not forseeing the future and players for taking any shortcut right or wrong to gain somthing they may not deserve.... who knows.

At this point in the game, I am just trying to have fun with friends and questing...WIth SOE shutting down servers in Japan just a year after launch of them and in it's native land... that is a sign of things to come. I'm on Bria so there is less chance of a population issue with me for a while, but it will not suprise me that on some of these servers where people are wanting to jump ship to a bigger server get shut down and migrated this next year. Hope Im wrong though, I really do.

I like Jedi that abuse static spawns and grind AFK.

The thing I enjoy most about Jedi that grind on the rryatt trails (afk or not) is that it nerfs Jedi. Next week when this weeks crop of new Jedi are finished their template they will be on the forums crying about how weak they are. Then next month they will be crying about the new nerfs.

For all the enjoyment these Jedi players remove from the game it almost makes up for it that they will never enjoy the game or understand why others do. That makes me happy.

lol, that's how much SOE hates the BRIA server. They spawn the DJMs. Not that I justify afk grinding. AFK grinding Jedi should have their accounts DELETED.Jedi grinding is so frickin easy that it's insulting to have to resort to kashyyyk.

On that note, SOE hates BRIA so much that Tiggs promised us a reward for all our downtime about 3 months ago and nothing has happened, yet the Europe servers have been down and immediately they get "compensation". Please tell me that isnt perfect evidence that SOE hates bria.

Whats the difference between a jedi afk grinding or a bh, cm, sl, ch, or any combat profession afk grinding?IF A JEDI SHOULD BE DELEATED FOR AFK GRINDING, SO SHOULD ANY OTHER PROFESSIONS AFKERS.

And come now, do you really think SOE hates a server, if they hated it that much, it would be gone.

we were ATK grinding and had two DJM within two hours spawn on us...it doesn't matter who you are they will kill you...I am lvl 80 and they one hit insta kill you.

As it was killing the group I ran...it warps to you and kills you. It will run you down if you are not too far away and kill you.

Be interesting to see if you change your mind after a few weeks of grinding.

I think we were able to “tell” better stories, when we had player interdependency, and multiple, variable classes.

Not everyone on the Ryatt Trail is a noob.

There are plenty of pre-pub 9 and pre-cu jedi who are using the trail to re-template.

It's not like we should be "earning" our jedi skills now anyway because we are no longer uber.

And jedi have always done afk grinding if they could get away with it. Starting with the first jedi who AFK ground using healing macros back whenyou got jedi xp for healing, right up through the Warren jedi and the Geo cave jedi.
